What an incredible day. The sights were absolutely amazing and we could not have had a better guide than Gilles. It was like having an old friend taking us through beautiful Siuthern France. I would definitely recommend to any future cruisers coming to Marseille.

This tour of Provence was EXCELLENT! Bruno, our guide was the very best. The six of us enjoyed everything we saw. Therecwas a variety of stops, from great views, to small villages, beaches, Cassis and Aix-en-Provence. We all rated this a five-star experience. Bruno really knows the area well.

Gilles was an excellent tour guide and extremely friendly. He was extremely knowledgable of the history of Marseille, Aix en Provence and Cassis. He took us through an excellent walking tour of Aix en Provence. He recommended some outstanding vantage points for us to take photos overlooking Cassis. Definitely a worthwhile excursion!

They’re literally is not a better guide and driver in the world, then Bruno! He is the best the Mercedes-Benz that he transported us in was meticulously, clean and comfortable. Bruno is not only a charming and interesting guide. He is also extremely responsible and reliable. We could not have had a better day. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to France.

Super good guide, who had really good local knowledge and was good at communicating knowledge. The equipment was fine and the landscape really beautiful.

We had a great time with our guide. In just three hours, he made us discover a long super varied course: coves, beautiful landscapes, small swimming breaks... He was super friendly and pro. Herve was a phenomenal guide. He evaluated my interests and expectations of this booking and met all of them. We drove up to the top of Cap Canaille for stunning views of Cassis and the Mediterranean. We toured Marseille, including the Basilica, Palais Longchamps, the ports and harbors. We walked around Aix- en- Provence and finished the tour with a visit to an overlook of the Calanques Canyons. Herve was informative and very personable.

Our Driver, Bruno was exceptional. His guidance was superb. He remembered all of our names and addressed us by name. We all considered him as a friend and insisted he join us for lunch. One of our ladies misplaced her purse and Bruno backtracked our stops to recover it. BTW, St. Tropes was incredible.

This was the fourth of 4 exceptional private tours with Romain from Guide Provence. We had so much fun! We learned so much! This tour was worth every penny. I highly recommend Guide Provence and Romain for all of your private tour needs!Romain met us in front of Aix’s tourist information center, an easy walk from our hotel. He showed us all around the streets and alleyways of Aix, pointing out certain stores, museums, buildings, Cezanne's childhood school and home, university buildings, and churches while regaling us with fun historical details and vignettes about all kind of things -- art, history, culture, and more. Fantastic!We then hopped in his very comfortable, roomy car and he drove us to Cassis, taking the scenic route, stopping at a gorgeous overlook of Cassis and The Calanques National Park on a beautiful windy day that refreshingly threatened rain from time to time. Just as we got back in the car for the rest of the drive to Cassis, the clouds let loose — it was spectacular!Cassis was colorful and charming, unique and refreshing. It was so different from all of the other towns we had visited so far. We stopped at a cute cafe and had a delicious spread of local wine, local cheeses, shrimp, mussels, bread, greens, olives, pickles, and the like. The meal and conversation were memorable and such a treasured part of our visit. (Romain is so fun and easy to be around!) After lunch, we walked around the port and the town as he told us more about the local geography, the Calanques, the local history and culture before taking the drive back to our Aix hotel. (I'm aware that a boat tour of the Calanques is a typical add-on to a tour of Cassis, but the wind, weather, and choppy seas did not lend themselves to boating that day, so I did not bring it up. Neither did Romain. We had an extraordinary time nevertheless!)Throughout our 4 different private tours with Romain, he readily adapted aspects of our tours to the weather, to any logistical problem of the moment, to any stated desires. This is just one of the reasons that I often hire a private tour guide on so many of my vacations. My friends, family, and I all love to learn. Bruno picked us up right at the cruise terminal , super easy. He brought us around to see a few beautiful sights in Marseille. He took our photos and was a great tour guide. We then went to Aix, and he dropped us off in the city center . After that we went to a cute coastal town , Cassis. We ate lunch there , and were able to walk around the town a little. The day with Bruno was made easy, he had charging cords and water and most importantly AC in his van . Would highly recommend this tour with Bruno to everyone. We felt very taken care of and we knew we were in good hands to get back to the cruise terminal in time !!

I really needed a customized tour that went out of the range of traditional tours from Marseilles, France. Bruno kept a relaxed and supportive pacing that afforded an extremely enjoyable and comprehensive tour, always with an eye to getting back to the cruise ship on time.

This was a beautiful kayaking trip through the Calanques. Definitely bring your water and sunscreen, as well as water shoes. Our guide was very helpful instructing us how to get in and out comfortably. We got quite lost initially trying to find the meeting point but our guide and group waited for us, which was much appreciated.

This was a great tour and Raphael was an excellent guide. We went exploring the calanques and to one of the beaches.
