Second time I am picking this excursion as last year I was impressed both by the beauty of the landscape but on top of that it was Arianna, the guide, who ensured one outstanding and formidable experience. I encourage strongly to every visitor that travels to Andros to select one foot forward and take advantage of this magnificent trip to the nature's land.

We spent 3 days hiking on Tinos and 4 days on Andros. Our excellent guide Ariana shared her love for these islands with us. Not only did she adapt to our level, but she also made it a priority to help us discover the history, culture, flora, and fauna of these wonderful islands. We returned enriched by what we learned. I highly recommend her agency to discover the authenticity of these islands. Ariana is in a constant quest for quality to fulfill all our desires. Her kindness and thoughtfulness as well.

The weather all 5 days on Andros was beautiful,and we were debating about taking tour or not. Glad we decided to take. Our hotel manager arranged it for us with Explore Andros. The guide,Fotis,not only customize it for us and showed great knowledge of History,also appears to be very delicate and simply very nice overall. We visited Foros Cave,Andros Town,Monastery,Springs. A pleasant experience with a guide who was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the island. He was able to answer all our questions perfectly.

We had already done a few hikes on the island of Andros but with a guide just for us, it's something else! Ariana is untappable on the island, its history, nature and she shares her knowledge with passion. She adapts without problems to her audience and did not hesitate to change a little the end of the course for us who preferred to end up in Chora and not on the beach. And then she speaks very good French which really allowed us to have fluid exchanges and enjoy the smallest details! Beyond her impressive culture, she is very friendly, offered us cupcakes and above all gave us tips on our next activities which turned out to be very good! Anyway, it was great!

We enjoyed our tour with Fotis: he is very knowledgeable and give us a fantastic understanding of Andros in addition to walking with us and driving us to beautiful locations.

This was the best day of our holiday. Ariana is an incredible guide: knowledgeable, passionate, thoughtful and charismatic. We learnt so much about the island and its people, but our conversations went far beyond that - a truly life-enhancing experience. Highly recommended.

My sister, my parents and I booked a half day tour through Andros. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Andros and Greek history. She was extremely patient and accommodating with us and my elderly parents. She took us through and around Chora, pointing out beautiful sites on the way. She then went above any expectation I had set for the tour. She took us to the remote village were she helped us find my grandfather's house and relatives that were still living there. The island is absolutely beautiful and the tour was something no one will ever forget!!! I would highly recommend Explore Andros!

Ariana was wonderful, experienced and very professional. He made sure to adapt the route to the level of our group so that everyone could enjoy it, even the children and teenagers in the group! It was my first time in Andros with my daughter and this tour made sure we got to see all the island and learn everything about it. It was an incredible tour with an amazing tour guide who explained each sight thoroughly. We were able to go to outstanding sights that we wouldn’t be able to stumble upon if we didn’t book this tour. Furthermore, they made sure to get us to the ferry on time:) They are very generous and heartwarming people. I 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island.

My mom and I had a lovely half day tour with Christos. He was very welcoming and showed us the beautiful green villages of the island while chatting about the events on the island. My daughter and I had a fantastic tour of Chora and some surrounding towns and sights. Christos is very knowledgeable of the area and a fun and accommodating guide. You get an insider's tour of authentic life on the island, including some yummy treats. I wish I had more time to do some of the other tours...next year!

Arianna is the first name of the female guide of One Foot Forward group. Arianna will naturally and effortlessly gain your sentiment criterion with her emerging warmness and sincere smile. Moreover, she has deep knowledge of the forest paths of Andros island. Will also provide you with information about the plants you will meet. In addition to these, Arianna will talk you for the history of the place. Not to forget about the brunch which is rich, local, and healthy! Either you first visit Greece, or have visited many times, do visit green Andros island and indulge yourself in the care of Arianna!

My daughter (14) and I (53) did three activities this year with One Foot Forward in Andros. The Paleopoli waterfalls via ferrata, the rock climbing lessons at Exo Vouni (Korthi), and the river trekking to Gerolimni.It is very difficult to convey in a review how amazing all these activities were!The guiding team was composed of Ariana (the leader), Alexandros (the climber) and Iosif (the volunteer photographer). These guys do not just take you to a tour or activity, they share a story and an atmosphere with you. But you have to be willing to listen and discover! it is not about "been there done that" and taking a selfie to prove it, it is about experiencing the best that is island has to give: pristine nature, diverse landscape, unimaginable beauty. I have been going to Andros for decades, and we have a house since the early 2000's, and still this year we enjoyed it more than ever because of these guys.The group was very well composed every time, although during the Gerolimni tour it was high season and the number of participants was not negligible. The guidance and instructions were excellent, informative and interesting. We never felt insecure for a moment.All three activities that we did were physically demanding, none of them was just a walk in the park. However Ariana will always try to put together a homogeneous group, and will adapt as necessary.Bottom line, if you want an active holiday that will not feel off-the-shelf, but will be a true experience, any activity with One Foot Forward is not to be missed!
