Our guide Ellen was a great mixture of being informative, friendly and helpful. I am 57 and really enjoyed this. Not too much difficult climbing but enough to remind you you have had a workout the following morning! Great value and the fact they let you borrow good footwear and clothing is a real bonus.

Our guide Matt was friendly and kind. My cousin and I had a fun and safe time at Sunshine Slabs. It was my cousin’s first time climbing and she felt encouraged and happy with the experience.My only feedback is to clarify what “no private transportation” meant on the booking. I thought it referred to transportation to the meeting point (i.e. the office). It was unclear to me we needed private transportation TO the rock climbing site so that would have been helpful to know and more clearly communicated.Thank you for the fun!

Decided to do the 4.5h skyline route on a cloudy, rainy day and was amazing. The climbing starts at the top of the chairlift, which is above the layer of low-level clouds. It's not too difficult but long and you get stunning views of all the mountains as you hang off the cliff face. There's a suspension bridge and wire crossing too. Our guide Ben was amazing too, very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

The skyline route was very fulfilling with the beautiful views and fun climbing. Take water and snacks!

We did the Banff Canyoning Adrenaline Canyoning Tour into Peskett Canyon at Abraham Lake – a 5-hour tour, in which my husband, my 13-yr-old son and myself were led by our amazing guide, Robin, to hike up to the canyon, change into wetsuits over our swimsuits, climb using ropes and Via Ferrata handles, slide down into rock pools, and rappel down rock faces into more rock pools, lots of rock scrambling and creek walking from place to place within the slot canyon. Unforgettable experience – we have never done anything like this and it was a major adventure for us. Such beautiful views with the sun shining down into the slot canyon. It was hot walking up from the road, but cool inside the canyon. Booked 3 months ahead, but when we arrived, we were the only family on the tour, so we got to move along at our own speed, take as many water breaks as we needed. We carried plenty of water, snacks and the wetsuits in the dry packs Robin gave us, those packs were heavy at first, but once we put the wetsuits on, they were easier to handle. Robin was fantastic – she was kind and very patient with us, she explained everything in detail, told us where to reach for the ropes, where to place our feet or knees for rappelling, how far to lean back into our harnesses. We watched in awe as she climbed up and rappelled down so quickly and smoothly. Definitely a 5-star adventure tour, highly recommend!

Our canyoneering experience was absolutely awesome! From the stunning scenery and thrilling rappels to the incredible sense of adventure, every moment was unforgettable. Our guide Lana was knowledgeable, skillful, professional, and made us feel safe while still keeping the experience exciting and fun. It was the perfect combination of adrenaline, breathtaking views, and great memories. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an unforgettable outdoor adventure—we can’t wait to go again!

We had such an amazing experience doing the Via Ferrata at Mount Norquay. Everything was incredibly well organized, from the quality of the route itself to the friendly and attentive service, and the excellent equipment provided.The views were absolutely spectacular and made the whole experience even more memorable.A very special mention goes to our guide, Alex, who was simply fantastic. He was highly professional, patient, knowledgeable, interesting, and such a genuinely pleasant person to spend the day with. He made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire route, while also making the experience fun and engaging. Honestly, pretty much the perfect guide.This was truly a unique and unforgettable experience, and we enjoyed every single moment of it. Highly recommended!

We went down the Formigal canyon today with David. Very complete and with more variety than the Peonera, rappels, jumps, and slides. We had a great time. Thanks to Avalancha and especially to David for his guidance.

I can’t recommend this excursion enough. It was the favorite activity of all the things we did in Banff for our entire family. We only had our family of four, a guide, and an additional climber. It was such a lovely reprieve from Banff crowds. Our guide, Tai, was patient, friendly, and a wonderful teacher. The climbing site is gorgeous and only 10 minutes from Banff. There is something for all experience levels. I am definitely beginner and somewhat out of shape, and had an excellent and easy time. My kids more climbing more advanced routes. There was also an experienced climber in our group, and he was able to get routes that challenged him. It truly is all day. For us, we arrived at 8:00 and lasted until around 2:00. Such a great value and core memories for our family!

This is an exhilarating experience. I did four decents and four climbs…which was plenty for a first-time climber. Harry was a great guide.

As a trade journalist who covers the meetings and incentives industry, I was approaching this experience in an analytical mode, expecting to filter it through a stack of “wellness experiences” commonly offered for groups to come up with a good summary of how it could work into an agenda for a corporate event or incentive program.Well, that intention almost instantly morphed into something infinitely more personal and profound within minutes of meeting Scott Berry, my Forest Therapy guide and Stellar Experiences’ Director of Guiding Operations. As we set off crunching through the hard-pack snow on the trail to Johnson Lake, he put me at ease with stories about the local plants and critters. He also explained the neuroscience behind the practice of Forest Bathing, which scratched my journalistic itch enough that I could then put my mental notebook away and just be with the experience as it unfolded.The guided meditation once we reached the lake ended up being profound, and having permission to explore the area with all my senses was amazingly freeing as I listened to the sounds of the ice breaking on the lake and felt the sun on my face, accompanied by a loon and three swans. We ended the session with a cup of rose hip tea and a snack before heading back down the trail.While I am open to new experiences, I do have to fight with my inner skeptic sometimes, the one who thinks things like Forest Bathing sound a little too woo woo. What it was instead was magical, transformative, life-changing in a very real and beautiful way. I feel that that place is now a part of my soul I can journey back to anytime I need to quiet my mind and connect with what actually matters.I am still finding new ways to braid what I experienced into my daily life, but it already has had a profound effect. I can only imagine what it could do for a corporate group.

My family of 4 did the Marble & Johnson Canyon Icewalk tour and absolutely loved it. Michael and Josh were both kind and easy going to make for an extremely memorable trip. They are very knowledgeable of the area and provided lots of fun facts. This mama felt very safe with them behind the wheel of the van and walking the trails. They have all of the necessary equipment with pick up/drop off being very easy. I’ll admit, my teenager’s favorite part was the provided cookies :)
