Yerevan Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

On 14th September I went for a tour with drive Levan and guide Gayane to Lake Sevan. I really enjoyed this time, especially boat trip. I would highly recommend this tour!!!

The tour was beautiful and our guide, Nektar, was simply amazing! The tour lasted around 5-6 hours, with a very small group of friendly people. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I accidentally found this company on Google because I needed a transfer from Yerevan to Tbilisi. At first, I was a little worried because I was traveling solo, but Anna helped me with scheduling my trip and with all the little things that came up along the way.My flight was rescheduled twice, so I couldn’t arrive on time, but Anna was very helpful and assured me that she would take care of the reservation and all the details. She was very nice, attentive, and responsive throughout the whole process.The driver was also very nice. He helped me go through customs and assisted me with my luggage. I’m really happy that I chose this company.The trip was also fun because there were travelers from many different countries, so it was a nice experience.I will definitely use this company again if I need a transfer in the future.

The business was recommended to me by a fellow traveller. When I reached out, they were always prompt to reply, friendly and helpful. They provided all the info I needed ahead of time for a hassle-free journey and I cannot speak highly enough if their services!

My sister and I have very little experience hiking mountains, or the right gear like hiking boots and poles. Our guide Hayk was absolutely incredible in helping us successfully reach the first summit, as well as ensuring we safely completed the hike. He is without a doubt an expert of the mountain and has decades of experience around the world in mountaineering. He was extremely patient and helpful at the parts we found difficult and also entertained us with funny stories, surprise views and a little dip in the lake after. I enjoyed the tours with the guides Anahit and Gaia. They both gave us a lot of information over the monuments and the history of Armenia in general. Both drivers made sure we had a safe and smooth ride. The employees of Yerani travel were also very helpful! Thank you!Our guide on this tour was Gaia, who helped us socialize with the rest of the group. I would definitely recommend this tour with wonderful monuments and a nice inside into the making of lavash bread!

I really enjoyed this Armenian wine tasting experience! The wines were excellent and the instructor was very knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate. A great way to discover Armenian wine culture. Highly recommended!

If you are interested in wine and want to discover a side of Armenia that goes far beyond the usual tourist route, MOONQ Wines is absolutely worth a visit.What I loved most was that this was not just a wine tasting. It felt like a real introduction to Armenian winemaking, its history, its people and its incredibly interesting local grape varieties.The tasting was hosted by Tevan, the owner and winemaker, and his passion is impossible to miss. He is a wonderful storyteller, and every bottle comes with a story behind it. The atmosphere is intimate and genuinely warm, with a beautiful view of Mount Ararat.The wines were a real highlight. We tasted several styles, from aromatic whites and a surprisingly serious, gastronomic rosé to the fascinating Nrneni wines. Nrneni was particularly memorable — a rare Armenian grape with completely different personalities depending on how the wine is made and aged. We also tried a wine aged in amphora, which was a beautiful example of how traditional techniques can give a local variety a completely new expression.And then there was the food: traditional Zhingyalov khats, packed with fresh herbs, together with carefully selected snacks that worked beautifully with the wines.What makes MOONQ special for me is the combination of rare Armenian varieties, very limited production, family history and genuinely personal hospitality. Nothing felt mass-produced or overly commercial. You really feel that there is a person, a family and a piece of Armenian land behind every bottle.I left with a much bigger interest in Armenian wine — and, naturally, a few bottles to take home. 🍷Highly recommended, especially if you are looking for something beyond the standard wine destinations. This is exactly the kind of place that makes you want to explore a new wine region before everyone else discovers it.5/5 — a beautiful, authentic and genuinely memorable wine experience.

I ended up being the only person on the 5pm tour. Was disappointed at first as I was looking forward to meeting people, but it ended up great. The lovely lady that ran the tasting was so friendly, and really knowledgeable. The pace was great and I learnt a lot. Definitely recommend

Long day but well worth it if you want to see all the sights of southern Armenia in one day. Sos, our driver, was excellent. He was punctual, friendly and safe. He made an effort to communicate in English. We would highly recommend him.

It was an unforgettable trip to Armenia. Eva is wonderfull guide, very proffrssional, sensitive and souful. She has a huge knowledge of Armenia and created a warm atmosphere for the grop. I higly recommended Red Hats Tour for anyone looking to explore stunning Armenia.

We took a tour to see the sights around Yerevan, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience.We truly loved the service — everything was well organized and comfortable. A special thank you to our driver Artak for his professionalism and smooth driving, which made the trip even more enjoyable.We were especially impressed by the fascinating and engaging stories about Armenia shared by Armene, they made the journey come alive and added so much depth to what we saw.Honestly, we didn’t want the day to end. My partner and I had the best time at this wine tasting experience and would recommend it to everyone visiting Yerevan. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect — delicious snacks, amazing wines, and the warmest hospitality from our host, Tevan.We had a private tour of the winery, with the most beautiful view of Mount Ararat. Tevan showed us around, shared the story behind his winery and wines, and made the whole experience incredibly personal and memorable.It was very interesting to hear about the process from growing and collecting the grapes to the winemaking and the bottling. You can truly feel the passion and craftsmanship.We loved trying all the different wines, from fresh whites and rosés to the very special red Nrneni, which was absolutely unforgettable. Such a unique and authentic experience, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Overall it is very nice experience with a lot of things to do and to see during the trip. Thx to our guide Vazgen we visited also a bonus point on the back way to Yerevan.

An amazing hiking experience in Dilijan National Park, with stunning views and peaceful trails. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the journey even more enjoyable with interesting insights about the area.
