Amazing experience! Driving on the beach with J.B. was really cool and kayaking on the ocean with him and Kevin was fantastic. We were barely meters away from a whale! At the end we could enjoy a great sunset before driving back :) Definitely recommended!

We absolutely loved our 2-day trip to K’gari, so many beautiful things to see and do! David was an expert tour guide, and everything worked like clockwork! Great value, unique landscape- felt like another world over there! You won’t be disappointed if you book with K’gari Explorer Tours - long-running tour providers who know exactly how to run this experience. Sad to have it come to an end! Definitely recommend the overnight stay - breaks up the experience and allowed us to decompress and relax for a couple of days. We won’t forget it! Thank you team.

Went with K’Gari explore tours, not cheap but excellent and would thoroughly recommend. Taylah was our guide and made the trip. Knowledgeable about the island, friendly and could not have been more helpful. Always pointing out wildlife, dingos, sea eagles and most spectacular blow holes and glimpses of hump back whales.

Great weekend trip
Had an incredible time on this trip - was the best part of our East Coast tour. We did the 3 day trip which was definitely the right amount of time. Our guide - Wade - was very good, he was knowledgeable, funny and friendly. The campsite was good, although obviously basic. We cooked as a group - the food included steak, cheese + bacon burgers, sausages, salads, pasta salad and vegetables. The lunches during the day were wraps with various fillings. We really enjoyed the food. The shower and bathroom facilities were okay, a few spiders but the staff were great and cleared them after our first night. The atmosphere in the evenings was really good - we had a campfire going and everyone was playing card games, chatting, and having a couple of drinks. During the days we visited some very picturesque places, although sadly our weather was disappointing. We saw a couple of dingos but nothing to be nervous about, if you follow the rules that the guides set. Driving the 4WD vehicles was definitely a highlight. I highly recommend this trip, especially for young adults travelling up the East Coast!!

Had a great time on the tour with Cory, Pippies were great at making everything very simple for us and went out their way to make sure we had the best time we could. Also great for allergies, I am celiac and had more than enough good gluten free food provided. Had never driven 4x4 before, was nervous at first but was great fun.

Brilliant K’gari (Fraser Island) tour with Pippies Beach House
We did the 4x4 self-drive tour of K’gari with Pippies Beach House and had an amazing time. Our guide Kory was fantastic — really chilled, knowledgeable and made sure everyone felt safe and well informed throughout, especially during the 4x4 driving sections which were a real highlight. He gave clear instructions before each drive and was great at reading the group’s confidence levels.The group itself was a lovely mix of like-minded couples, which made for a really sociable trip — by the end it felt like we’d made genuine friends rather than just being on a tour. Kory clearly knows the island inside out and took us to some stunning spots we wouldn’t have found ourselves.Driving the 4x4s across the island was a brilliant experience — properly fun and a highlight of our whole east coast trip. Kory struck a great balance between letting us enjoy the driving and keeping everyone safe on some genuinely tricky terrain.One small thing — we found a little spider on the outside of our tent netting one night. Nothing made it inside, and it’s worth remembering you’re camping in genuine Australian bushland so this is to be expected rather than a reflection on the campsite itself. Just worth bringing a torch for a quick check before bed!

K’gari is just stunning. Incredible beaches, crystal-clear creeks and lakes, beautiful landscapes, and actual wild dingos. Doing it in the 4x4s makes it even more of an adventure, and Dingo’s camp was way better than expected. The tents, facilities and food were all well looked after, solid setup.But the real reason this tour gets 5 stars is our guide Aido. Dude is a genuine legend. Down to earth, professional, hilarious, and you can just tell he genuinely loves what he does and where he works. He made the whole trip and kept the energy up, looked after everyone, and just had a real personable approach to every person. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.
