Pleasantly surprised. Had a great time. My grands loved it. The other children were well behaved as well. The water features were the best. Geared toward the more younger children. Food a bit pricey. All the characters were accessible.

The two day ticket ended up costing me less than getting the same from the official website especially when factoring in we got two free meals included in the admission price. Great value.

Okay everybody this is going to be the review you need to read. Understand what the place is so that way you know what you're getting into up front. It is expensive, the food is standard basically pizza, burgers, hot dogs. A burger is almost $20 and you're going to wait in line. Now with that out of the way there are charming aspects that will be memorable for your kids as long as you work around the high dollar cost and the lines. It is worth it as long as you understand what it is. Have fun with your family focus on the good stuff.

Our experience at Sesame Place Philadelphia was awesome! All of the staff and characters were wonderful. Every year we go, the experience gets better and better. Our party included two adults with disabilities and the staff and characters went above and beyond to make their experience very special. Thank you Sesame Place!

A weekend holiday spot to a Fun theme park. Has plenty of parking and lots of fun games, roller coasters, merry go arounds, water games and other activities for whole family especially young children and teens.The food selection was however quite limited and the place gets very overcrowded on week ends and one ends up spending quite sometime in queues everywhere. Also there was very limited covered space and the open outdoors can make it a very hot ons bothersome outing especially when small kids and infants are in the group.

My 5 and 8 year old had a wonderful time at Sesame Place. I didn’t expect to go back because after the pandemic my oldest boys seemed too old, but my 8.5 year old had the best time of all. The roller coasters and family tube ride are great for older kids. He remembered before (or remembered photos) and wanted to get the character cupcakes again. A lot was the same after 7 years. They still had excellent entertainment with shows and a daily parade. I highly highly recommend visiting at the end of August. On 8/21 and 8/22 no crowds. It was much easier to see the parade than a busy time. The character dinner is a must-do and great value. Book with the hotel (Springhill Marriott is closest) for deals. The lazy river is nice and long and they let kids walk it as well. Disappointing it was closed one day, as well as some other slides. We were so happy they opened it on 8/22. There is a long ramp to enter which was fun and makes it easily accessible. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. Going for 2 days is great. If you skip the 3:00 parade on one day, lines for rides will be shorter at that time. Get there before 10 because you can beat the line to go through security, which gets long. The shows and character greetings make a trip here well worth it!

Wonderful time today at Sesame Place. A place where everyone can find an activity to enjoy. Water rides were a highlight.

Four year old loved it and teen didn’t mind tagging along. Ticket was more affordable on Groupon. Stayed at hotel across the street, making the stay super convenient

We went on a Friday, it wasn't very crowded and my 2.5 year old had a great time. She rode everything she could ride more than once, met elmo & abby twice, met cookie monster, met Bert and Ernie. We played in the water & sand too. It was a great day for her! We heard the dine with elmo was not worth it, but we had a great time and met all the characters anyway. Parade was also great!

Visited with friends and it was really cute. I grew up watching this show, so getting to walk Sesame Street was nostalgic. A lot was closed as far as attractions and food, but I’m assuming it is because it is not officially summer. They definitely need more maintenance to keep things clean.

We had a great time. This place put a huge smile on my son's face. My favorite photo of him playing in the water made me feel he could do an add or be a model for them I thank God for the unforgettable memories created.

My kids absolutely loved Sesame Place. They enjoyed all the rides and they particularly enjoyed the parade.That being said, the park was definitely understaffed. None of the water slides in the water play area were open, and it appear only 1 water ride other than the lazy river was open. The food stands along the parade route had only 1 person working them right before the parade, despite super long lines, and they continually ran out of food.Even more frustrating was the kids rides themselves had long lines not because of crowds, but because of lack of staff. For example, rather than having 2 attendants on a ride (one handling letting people on and a second helping people get into their seats), each ride only had 1 attendant, which probably added 2-3 minutes to each cycle of a ride. For a park where most kids are under 8 years old, speed of getting kids on and off a ride should be paramount. The Magic Queue is expensive, but if your kids are going to want to go on rides multiple times, it is probably necessary (my kids only went on each ride once, so we did not buy it).The prices of things in the park were expensive, but that is most theme parks nowadays, so nothing unexpected there.

We went on 8/27, the Sunday before labor day weekend. Got to parking lot at 9:45am, waited about 3 minutes parked closer than the reserve parking. Line to get through security 5-10 minutes, line to get ticket scanned 5-10 minutes. So we were in the park by about 10:10am and there was no line for anything. My husband and I went with our 3 year old girl and she had a ball. No lines for any of the dry rides, we rode three of them, and she passed on the rest, but there was still no long lines by the time we left the dry area around 11am. I read the reviews of the food and opted for the Dine with Elmo to avoid the headache and get guaranteed character meetings. This was my daughters favorite part of the day and well worth it despite, the absolutely terrible food. The shows were also cute for her and I really liked the one on Sesame Street with Big Bird because it felt like watching an episode being filmed. We also skipped the two water slides because lines, and my daughter took one look and went "no thanks", but there was zero line for the lazy river and we did that a few times and spent the rest of the day by the wave pool (which I wish went a little deeper). I didn't think the employees were rude, but I'm a NYer who doesn't really love/need in your face happiness either... There were also little to no lines for the characters that were out and about if you caught it when they were getting to there spot, which was easy to do if you checked the app. It was a great park for my 3 year old, who barely sat in her stroller because it's just not that big. Will we go back? She'll probably outgrow it in 2 years, so not likely, but it was worth it for the HALF PRICE tix we got. Worth it for full price? Probably not.

We went to Sesame place with our 3 kids ages 5,6 &8. It was great. We went middle of August and it was busy but nothing we didn't expect. The rides were great for kids these ages. There were water rides and amusement rides. We arrived at 1120 am and left just before closing at 620pm . This is a great place where parents can watch their kids have the biggest smiles on their faces. The lines for the meet and greets were also very small.

The park is organized and fun for small children. The water activities are nice for all ages. Renting a Cabana is a plus and a must if you like to get away from the crowd and for privacy. It has its perks. Now what needs improvement is food service; the amount of time waiting for your order and the taste of the food is terrible. The chicken tenders are your best bet. The bathrooms are nasty and smelly, the bathroom attendants need to clean at least every 30 mins when the park is full. Overall Sesame Place is cool, but even better on a least busy day.

Hadn't been to SP for about 4 years. Happy to see that they have improved the Dining with Elmo experience. The sanitation, food quality and food handling has improved greatly. They also do play cute games and other activities with the characters and kids which really enriches the character engagement and makes it worthwhile IMO. My big complain with SP is the lack of built in shade in the parks and lack of proper staffing. Some of the rides in Cookie Monster land don't open until an hour after park opening so arriving early doesn't necessarily help. At the water park on a Friday morning, it took over an hour to get on Rosita's slides because they only had one slide open. Additionally, the magic quee that they have added where you can pay more to skip the line/express line is awful. It makes the regular long that much longer, luckily most park goers don't participate but I can't imagine the increased wait times if more well heeled customers starting using this system. Creating a two tier experience is a no for me. Easy, small and manageable Great park for the under 7/8. set. Needs more shade and better staffing.
