Our visit to Gérard Bertrand was far more than a wine tasting—it was a journey through landscape, craftsmanship, and passion.The start was a walk by the sea and a relaxed lunch at the restaurant L’Hospitalet Beach. The special atmosphere between the coast and Mediterranean nature set a wonderful mood for the rest of the day.Afterward, the wine tour led us to the L’Hospitalet winery. The tour was excellently organized and was accompanied by a dedicated guide whose enthusiasm for wine and her workplace was palpable in every moment. With expertise, warmth, and great dedication, she opened up the world of wine to us and let us experience the fine connections between terroir, grape variety, and craftsmanship in a vivid way.The selection of wines was extraordinary. Each wine was introduced, tasted, and explained in an understandable way at the appropriate time and in the right context. This created not only a deeper understanding of wine culture but also an appreciation for the philosophy behind every glass.What remains is the memory of an all-around successful afternoon, characterized by extraordinary hospitality, inspiring encounters, and the feeling that good wine is far more than a drink—it tells stories, preserves the soul of a landscape, and connects people. An experience that leaves a lasting impression and is highly recommended without reservation.

Nice welcome, nice estate and nice visit and good tasting. Nice weather a bit windy. In addition I was able to bring my bottle.

Sean was a great and entertaining host and his knowledge of wine lore is encyclopedic! A well spent evening.

I loved this event. I thought I knew wine until Sean starting speaking. He introduced us to wines I had never even heard of before. His presentation was delivered in an relaxed way giving a fun atmosphere to the event. Definitely recommend it.

We received a private tour of the beautiful wine landscape with lots of information about how the wines are made. What size it is, what the difference is between the different wines and alcohol percentages. In addition, we saw the entire wine production process, the barrels, etc. Ended with a delicious wine tasting. You can also buy directly all the wines you taste. Not cheap, but then you really have top wines! Highly recommended.

I’ve been participating in several of Sean‘s Wine Tasting Events and can highly recommend it. It‘s always fun combined with amazing wines/ drinks and lovely people. Sean has a profound knowledge and is passionate in hosting his guests. Perfect event - danger of repetition 😊

Although we had opted to choose the English Guide, the guided tour was done in French. Our Guide translated the most essential things into English, and it was still a pleasant visit. The structure is superb .. very elegant and surrounded by nature. The wines produced all follow the principle of biodynamic cultivation. We did not buy wine because it was not to our taste, but it was a very pleasant experience.
