Lille Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Brill tour around the city of Lille and would highly recommend- would have missed a lot of what we saw if wasn’t for the tour -Rafy was fab and knowledgeable!

The 2CV tour was excellent. Turned up within few minutes of pick up time. The driver was lovely, very knowledgeable about Lille and was courteous to everyone. We had the top down on the car and had a great drive around Lille central and the old town. Driver stopped so that we could take photos. The car was gorgeous....thankyou..

Very friendly, informative guide. Great way to learn about Lille's history. We were shown the historic buildings and told about their history. We were recomended locally produced pastries to try and had recommendations for restaurants in the area. Well worth doing.

A fun way to see Lille. Small car, big experience. Friendly, knowledgeable drivers, ready to answer any questions.

Great fun in Lille with the scavenger hunt. Our second time trying this and we were a bit more confident than the last time. All the historical buildings etc/clues are quite close together. We spent 3 hours on the clues but we did have a few rain showers. Great way to to discover Lille.

The 2CV Lille city tour was fantastic and easily the best part of our trip. Raphy was funny, incredibly knowledgeable with a load of fun facts of the city. He also went above and beyond to make my wife’s birthday really special. A brilliant way to see the city,l !We’d 100% recommend this tour — just book it! 🚗🇫🇷❤️

A wonderful way to experience Lille and get a great feel for the city. Our guide Raphy was awesome!! A great representative of Cool Destinations AND of Lille!! Lots of fun!!!! The convertible gives you a great view as you wind your way through town.

Easy walking for 70+ people like us. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Anne was such a great guide and so easy to get along with. It was more like walking around Lille with an old friend who just happened to know interesting things about Lille, its architecture and history.

You'll love the enthusiastic introduction to Lille! Important accessibility point: Be aware that the Citroen 2CV is not the easiest vehicle to enter. In a way it is the perfect way to blend an introduction to a place with being taken around in a piece of history itself.

Brilliant way to see and learn about a remarkable city.

Fully recommended. Claude showed an understanding of the need to tailor his tours to the national interests of his guests. We appreciated his focus on the Australian battles and achievements but he also showed great sympathy for all who fell in this terrible war. The suffering of those who lost loved ones, no matter their nationality were mourned. Claude's extensive knowledge of the battlefields was the highlight and his stories of strategies (successful & otherwise) brought a better understanding to the landscapes and monuments we visited. It was a fascinating 2 days however the ultimate loss and inhumanity of it all was our lasting impression- an insight Claude assisted us in remembering.
