Soweto
Highly recommend this tour. Our guide Clement was very knowledgeable, which gave us a better understanding of Soweto and it's history.

Excellent tour- highly recommended.
We had a wonderful day with Gabriel our guide on our day trip to Soweto. Gabriel is a warm, thoughtful and knowledgeable guide who made our trip sparkle. We visited Nelson Mandela’s home and had lunch at a local restaurant serving typical South African food. We also experienced great street performances by different groups. Gabriel explained the history of how Soweto came to be and how it has changed over the years. We enjoyed having a beer in a local bar.
We loved everything that we did but the most thought provoking and confronting part of our trip was the visit to Kliptown. I am so glad we went there, the people we met were so kind and welcoming and the children were gorgeous. Kliptown is the poorest part of Soweto and most tourists don’t go there. We saw how this community is working together to improve young people’s lives through creative industry.
We highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to gain an understanding of Soweto’s history and its people.

Full-Day Soweto, Apartheid Museum and Lunch Tour334stephane, Jul 2026
Interesting, insividual, informative, unforgettable
We siebt a really interesting day with our perfect guide Nicholu. He showed us the Apartheid museum and we had enough time to visit it on our own. Then, we went to the stade and the Orlando Towers. We were in the part of the Soweto-Township, where the poorest people live. A lady showed us how she lives there and we visited a Kindergarden too. If you want to help the Community, buy something in their shop, they make everything themselves and the money is for the hole Community.
We went to a restaurant with a african buffet with a delicious choice of meat vegetables and dessert. Vegeterian and Vegan people will tove the vegetables. After lunch, Nicholu showed us the houses of Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela and in the end, we went to the Hector Pieterson Memorial Center.
Nicholus was a perfect guide who gave us many Information. We highly recommand this tour and this guide.

Perfect 1/2 Day Tour
This was a perfect half day tour. Our guide, Jason, was super efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. He picked us up from our hotel and cautiously drove us to and from the Lion 🦁 Safari, Cradle of Humankind, and Meropeng. It was such a pleasant ride both ways.
Jason was well-prepared and knew exactly what to do to make each stop seamless and enjoyable!
At the Lion Safari, we were greeted by the dynamic Mr. Bingo, and our fabulous driver and guide was Ms. Nolu. The Safari was amazing! We saw 4 Lion prides, giraffes, warthogs, wild dogs, wilderbeast, and cheetahs. Near the shops and restaurants, we also saw 🫛 peacocks, ducks, and Nile crocodiles 🐊.
We grabbed a bite and beverage after the tour and was joined by Zoey the 🦒 Giraffe.
The Cradle of Humankind was also a good stop. The cave climb was amazing. You do have to bend or stoop quite low and climb lots of stairs, but exploring the cave is worth it.
Moropeng was interesting. It's a good follow-up to the Cradle of Humankind.
The donut boat ride was totally dark in places, but it was very interesting.
The costs covers transportation and all entrance fees, which was great. Take cash for tips!
Mr. Jason's attention to detail, preparedness, and professionalism made our 1/2-day excursion an A+ experience!
