Ensenada Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We used Ruta del Vino for our wedding transportation and highly highly recommend working with them!!Their team was incredibly easy to coordinate with and made it a breeze for our guests to get to and from our wedding. We had vans scheduled to pick up and drop off at 3 different hotels around the valley (totaling around 78 people) - and the service was positively perfect! They were efficient, on-time, reasonably priced, and their various bus/van sizes made it easy to accommodate the varied group sizes staying at each hotel. They also provided us (bride and groom and our immediate wedding party) with transportation to and from the wedding and we could not have been happier.While we didn't use them for tours around the valley or their airport pick-up service (as we had rented our own car) - we will certainly look to book with them the next time we visit!

I can’t recommend Ivan highly enough! He helped us with a ride on short notice, navigated to our remote Airbnb without an issue, and even gave us advice on our return trip to the US.

All staff were very friendly, helpful and very kind. This is a whole campground, with two beautiful pools, horse back riding, ATV adventures, several play grounds and splash pads. 10/10 for experience on the zipline. WIsh I would of booked more adventures with them. Will definitely be back!!!

Chuy was the best! He arrived on time and even re-confirmed pick up that morning. Must do: the stop for a margarita (best I've ever had..invented by Margarita). You can make it your own tour or go with a set tour.

Excellent service and value. This was so much better than the cruise organized excursion. We were on our own timeline and the driver, Fernando, was so accommodating.

We enjoyed this excursion. The meeting area was clean, comfortable and easy to walk to straight from the ship. The guide was easy to talk to - spoke perfect English and the transportation was a brand new, air conditioned van/ mini bus. The drive was about 45 min. To the horses. The horses were well cared for and so fun to ride. We rode for about an hour and the whole family enjoyed it. There is also a little zoo and paddle boats that were included with the price. Everything was great and we had a fabulous time. Highly recommend

This experience was incredible! Homer was a great guide and ensured our safety. The trip is quite long but it is very worth your while! If you wanna ride ATVs here is your spot.

Ivan was absolutely exceptional and truly made our Valle de Guadalupe trip so special. We initially thought we were simply booking a driver, but he ended up being an amazing tour guide as well. Having grown up in the region, he is incredibly knowledgeable about Valle de Guadalupe and was able to share so much about the area throughout our trip.He was also extremely communicative from beginning to end. Anything we needed, he was more than happy to accommodate, and he was always friendly, flexible, and attentive to everyone in our group.What really stood out to us, though, was how much he genuinely cared about our safety and comfort. One person in our group became very sick during the tour and needed to return to Tijuana early. Ivan immediately stepped in to help coordinate another driver to take her back. He could tell that she was nervous about traveling back alone, so he went out of his way to arrange for a trusted female colleague to drive her so that she would feel safe and comfortable. That level of thoughtfulness and care meant so much to all of us.On top of everything else, Ivan stayed with our group for about three hours beyond our originally allotted time. He never made us feel rushed or like we were an inconvenience, he was just incredibly gracious and accommodating throughout the entire experience.Ivan went above and beyond in every possible way. He is knowledgeable, kind, professional, communicative, and genuinely cares about the people he is taking care of. We could not recommend him more highly and would absolutely book with him again the next time we’re in Valle de Guadalupe!

Had a great time using this as our cruise ship excursion. Pickup was easy to find with the included directions, and our transportation was clean and efficient. Guides were friendly and helpful, and created a great experience for all members of our party, regardless of age or experience.

This was the best tour. Vivienne picked us up at the port and drove us to our destination. She was a great guide and told us many things about the area and pointed out many landmarks along the way. Once we arrived, our kayak guide Esau gave us some kayaking tips and rules then we were on our way. This is the BEST way to see the blow hole! We had a great view from the ocean and were able to get so close to it. We had our grandsons who are 12 and 13 years old and my wife and I who are retired. This is an activity we could all do and we had never really gone kayaking before. This was a private tour, just the four of us and our guide so we didn’t feel rushed. Esau taught us many things about the ecosystem and the history of the blow hole. After kayaking Vivienne took us to the flea market. She stayed with us the whole time and gave us some helpful tips on how to make good “deals” in the marketplace. She was great to help us manage our time to make sure we made it back to the ship on time. She gave our grandsons a Spanish lesson on the drive back to the ship and now they can count to 100 in Spanish. It was so much fun and we would definitely do it again. This company made us feel like family.
