Barbados Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Our tour guide was excellent, and the rum tasting is a plus, the cafe has tasty sliders and the parking is secured as well!

We have been on many tours in various islands and I have to say this has been the best by far, all the crew were magnificent, joyful and willing to help in every way, from getting picked up at our hotel to being dropped off it ran so smoothly ( all over in a flash ). The equipment was cleaned after every use and plenty to go round, they gave us information whilst in the sea about the fish and the shipwrecks that we saw. Plenty of free drinks, lots of non alcoholic drinks. Now the food, it was amazing, fried fish ,chicken, salad, coleslaw, macaroni pie, seconds if you want it. Cake and coffee when you first board, and cake on the return journey. All in all a fantastic day, with the crew and new friends. Please book this trip it is definitely value for money . My teenage son and I have been in to birding for a few years, so while on vacation in Barbados I figured why not try this tour? It was an awesome experience and I definitely recommend it even if you're not in to birding. Our tour guide Roger (who owns the company) picked us up in the morning from our hotel in his van, and took us around to several unique places on the island to see birds and some great sights. It was July, and not the best time for birds, but I still got some great pictures, and a few new bird species on my life list. Roger knew where to go, and spotted the birds. He had binoculars and water for us.It wasn't just about birds though. He took us to an incredible view point at the end of a road that we walked down (while also spotting birds), and one of the highlights was seeing a really old parish church, and feeding the doves.Roger was great on the tour - he shared lots of stories, explained a lot of the history of Barbados and the places we visited.This was a wonderful tour and I definitely recommend it.

This was a fantastic informative train experience. The staff from the train to the Abbey and distillery, were so friendly and knowledgeable. The views though a little cloudy from Cherry Tree Hill was awesome. It was the right length of time. The history of the distillery. Definitely try the liqueurs. The rum tasting was great. The gift shop was also and the staff helped with my decision on what to buy. Can’t wait to cook with the rum pepper I bought. I’d say great value for what was seen and heard. Anyone would enjoy.

We had such a fantastic experience from start to finish! The entire crew was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and they really went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time.The food was delicious, and the rosé wine and drinks kept flowing throughout the excursion. The highlight was definitely being out on the water and seeing so much incredible sea life. We saw plenty of colourful fish, explored the beautiful reef, and got to see the shipwrecks, which made the snorkeling experience even more memorable.Great atmosphere, great food and drinks, beautiful scenery, amazing snorkeling, and an exceptional crew. A perfect day on the water and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!

Had such a great time learning a bit of history, sipping on various rums, and making drinks from scratch. The facilitators were entertaining, threw in some jokes, and even shouted us out for celebrating our anniversary (which Im still trying to figure out how they knew!!! Lol). Overall we had a grand time. Would highly recommend!

Such a beautiful place…everyone was so nice. Cooking class was informational and delicious…rum tasting was interesting and the rum is strong! The venue itself is beautiful and the best part was honestly the bird aviary..: the guide was fun and full of information. We were there long enough to zip line and the guys were so fun!

I loved the whole experience from the amazing welcome rum punch to the incredibly detailed tour from our fantastic guide to the rum tasting looking over the most beautiful beach. I would highly recommend!

Had a fantastic tour. It was great having the boat to ourselves and not rushed or crowded. Really relaxed. Got taken to great snorkelling spots, Rhianna’s house to keep the girls happy and shown stingray, tarpin and swam with turtles. Camel was really friendly and kept drinks and snacks flowing. Finished off in Holetown watching the sunset from the beach. An excellent afternoon and would recommend.

We had an excellent experience on our hiking and sightseeing tour! The hike was about 5 miles long, but mostly through flat areas. There were only 2 medium sized inclines.Tommy was our guide and did a wonderful job. He was very knowledgeable and would answer any questions that we had. At the beginning of the hike, he provided drawstring bags with water and at the end of the hike, he had more refreshments.This was our favorite activity that we did in Barbados!

This tour was INCREDIBLE! My wife and I added 26 new birds to our life list including a couple rare ones! And even if you are not an avid birder the tour is still fantastic! We saw breathtaking views of the Eastern coast, a beautiful old church, and some of the country side you wouldn't see if you only stayed on the resort or the beaches. Our guide Rodger was very friendly and super knowledgeable! He taught us about the history of the island, some of its geological features, and even about the plant life around us! This was probably my favorite experience on the entire island! 12/10 could not recommend this one enough!

Kevin was absolutely wonderful! He was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable, and he worked with us to create the perfect itinerary for our half-day tour. He really took the time to make sure we had an experience that everyone in our family would enjoy.He even made a small detour to accommodate a special request from my dad, which was such a thoughtful touch and really showed how much he cared about making our day special.His vehicle was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, and from start to finish, we felt completely at ease. We had such a wonderful time exploring Barbados with Kevin and couldn’t have asked for a better tour experience.I highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely kind tour guide. We will absolutely be using him again the next time we’re back in Barbados!

We have just finished a family reunion at Accra Beach Hotel and spa in Barbados. We called it “we gathering” Family members came from Australia USA and the UK.
