Going to hike on a glacier can be intimidating, but this is an experience that will leave you feeling glad that you did it! You will feel like you are on top of the world.
All our guides are well trained and certified.
This activity is not suggested for children under 8.
We can customize your departure time- just ask! We can even assist with hiking boot rental if needed- hiking boots are required.

What To Expect
We will meet in the parking lot at Solheimajokull. Where we will gear up, have a safety talk about the glacier hike and the route we will take. We then begin our hike, which can last 2.5-3 hours. Our guides are very well trained, and this hike is non-technical, no special skills required to attend this activity. You will feel on top of the world with these amazing views. You will have opportunities to taste fresh glacier water and get some amazing photos before we say our goodbyes.
Please bring hiking boots and gloves to this activity and any other warm clothing you may need.
