Diving for patented divers
Overview
The seabed of the coast of Taormina is rich in fish and crustaceans typical of the Mediterranean fauna.
Here the staff of the "Blue Sea Diving", (the only diving center in the bay of Mazzarò) awaits you to accompany you through wonderful dives.
The 13 diving points, chosen by our PADI / SSI instructors, are suitable for all levels of divers from beginners (Open water) to advanced (Advanced Open Water).

What To Expect
-Presentation of the instructor to new divers.
-Briefing on the first diving point, on the safety rules, the description of the equipment, the trim, the breathing
-Dressing the equipment
-Transfer by boat to the diving point (max. 5 minutes)
-Diving (40/45 minutes with 1 instructor / divemaster with max. 4 divers)
-Return to the diving center (organized with shower and toilet)
- 1 hour surface interval (snacks, coffee, tea, water, biscuits)
-Debriefieng on the first dive
-Briefing on the second diving point and safety rules
-Transfer by boat to the diving point.
-Diving (40/45 minutes with 1 instructor with max. 4 divers)
-Return to the diving center.

- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- For packages longer than 2 dives, please note that the maximum number of dives per day is 2.
- For tours departing at 10 AM, the return is scheduled for 2 / 2.30 PM
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

Participants in the Diving for patented divers cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
