What To Expect
Rancho Verde is a hotspot for birds with its more than 120 bird species (including migrants), making it the premier birdwatching destination near Sayulita for those seeking tranquility and a rich avian experience. At Rancho Verde, where we offer exclusively guided tours, you can enjoy uninterrupted birdwatching in a serene environment. Whether you're a seasoned birder or a novice who's never held binoculars before, you'll be captivated by the diverse birdlife awaiting your discovery. Your tours begin at the gas station at the entrance of Sayulita, from where we'll embark on a scenic walk to the sanctuary. Along the way, and throughout your time at the ranch, we’ll have ample opportunities to spot and admire a wide variety of winged residents. The habitat is divers ranging from dense jungle to a wide open space at the center of the ranch with clear views to the sky. For those new to birdwatching, I'll provide hands-on guidance with binoculars, which I can supply for up to five people. If you're targeting specific species for your list, just let me know, and I’ll do my best to locate them for you!
