At Pro Surfing Company, the first Official Surf School in Gran Canaria (since 2004), we have been sharing passion and experience with surfers of all ages for more than 20 years. Our commitment is to offer you an authentic, safe and fun experience from the first minute.
Classes are held on beaches such as Playa del Inglés, Maspalomas or San Agustín, choosing the best place according to the sea and wind every day so you can enjoy incredible waves.

What To Expect
What you will do (step by step)
Registration and delivery of material (store): We will receive you in our store at the Eurocenter (in front of Lidl, Playa del Inglés) and give you your wetsuit.
Transfer to the best beach : We will go to the place with the best conditions of the day — normally San Agustin Beach, or Maspalomas / Playa del Inglés, depending on the waves and wind.
Warming and safety : On the beach we do a brief warm-up, we explain the safety regulations, the signs with the hands and the awareness of the marine environment.
Ground class : Fast theory + sand exercises (rowing, pop-up/takeoff, posture and balance). Groups are divided by level.
Water session (~2 hours): Practical water training with a short break halfway through hydrating or snacking. The instructor will give you tips between sets to progress safely and fun.
Close : Quick stretch, feedback and next steps for your surf.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
