Kite Surf Beginners Land Course in Gran Canaria
Overview
This group lesson takes you through the basics of kite surfing. A professional, IKO certified instructor is assigned between 3 to 4 persons that are inexperienced in kite surfing. The instructors are dedicated and passionate and they are ready to help build your confidence and skill with the safest and most exhilarating methods. The small group ensures the experience is lively without running the risk of being overcrowded. And since every group member is a greenhorn, there is an equal platform for learning and the instructor would be starting right from the basics. It would be a great lesson to take with your partner or family.
Usually, we provide a pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation (in the area of Playa del Inglés/Maspalomas). The whole kite experience takes between 4 and 5 hours (including transfers and gathering equipment). This can be different depending on the weather conditions.
Our instructors will provide you with water and a snack.

Kite classes are divided into several levels of teaching: Level 1: surfing (class on land) at this level it prepares you to acquire all the knowledge to be able to enter the water safely.
Level 2 (class in the water) there are several exercises that you must have controlled to be able to enter the water with maximum safety
COURSE DESCRIPTION. The first day of the kitesurfing course is dedicated to the preparation of the material, the knowledge, and the evaluation of the practice area. You will learn to fly with perfect control through a series of exercises. These exercises teach you to the correct handling of the kite so that you can enter the water smoothly and with confidence.
LEVEL 1: Land course / kite control
-The theory of the wind and the suitability of the beach.
-How to use the security system. -Set and pack the kite -Know and determine the flight zone.
-Control the kite in the wind window.
-Launch and land the kite with help.
-flying a big kite
-Perfect control of the kite. -Control the kite with one hand in both directions.
-Walk with the kite with one hand
-Walk with the kite with one hand and in the other hand to control the kite and board
