What To Expect
After pickup at your hotel, you'll be transported to the starting point for the parasailing adventure at Bavaro Beach. Starting from there, hop aboard a speed boat, this one will take you to a bigger Parasailing boat and get ready for an adventure of a lifetime!
The crew will give you the security procedures required to begin a flight full of adrenaline. The parasailing tour starts after a smooth take-off while the clear water splashes your feet. You will begin to take altitude slowly and set off to see the different wonders of the fascinating landscape. While 500 feet high, dazzle while enjoying the seascape, the beautiful coast of our beach and breathtaking aerial views of coral.
Benefit from a complimentary shopping experience where you'll have the opportunity go outside the hotel and enjoy the local sights, buy a souvenir, some local cigars or natural coffee and rum to take back home with you. You will be taken to a large variety store of original Dominican items with the best prices in the area. Then, you are safely returned to shore before heading back to your hotel with your transport.

Dec 2021Although it is best for you to be comfortable in the water, you do not have to know how to swim. Each guest is provided with a buoyancy compensator (BC) that will assist with flotation.
Apr 2023Yes, the minimum age to parasail is 6 years old. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver prior to boarding the vessel. At Cool Destinations safety is our number one priority. The minimum weight required for parasailing is roughly 90 pounds. If the flyer is less than 90 pounds, they will simply fly tandem with someone not to exceed roughly 450 pounds combined weight. Weight requirements may differ due to wind conditions.
Feb 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
