What To Expect
Checking in at 08:00, you'll meet your Dive Guide, Captain and the rest of the dive crew. After filling out brief paperwork, your Dive Guide will fit you for equipment. Your guide will then take you through a fun, informative and detailed dive briefing, going through everything you need to know to have a fun and safe time out on the water. Then it's time to head to the beach!
We will head out by boat to the first dive site. Our dives are fully guided, and up to 60 minutes long, in beautiful coral reefs filled with tropical fish. After your first dive, you will either come back to the shop and enjoy some water and fruit, or spend your surface interval on the boat. You will then head out to a different site for Dive 2, which is also up to 60 minutes long.

- Travellors must be able to complete the Divers Medical Form to be allowed to dive or provide an official document from their doctor stating they are fit to dive to their depth limitiations.

- All participants must be able to show their Open Water (or higher) diving certification
- Travellors must allow minimum 18 hours between scuba diving and travelling in an airplane
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

Participants in the Diving for Certified Divers, 2 Tanks Sosúa Bay cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
