Cinque Terre Pesto experience in Riomaggiore
Overview
Do you like Pesto? This is the right class for you to learn how to make it from scratch according to the traditional technique and to the recipe of my grandmother.
The experience takes place in my XVI century private home in Riomaggiore (Cinque Terre) located in the village center where my dog Ettore and I will welcome you with a glass of prosecco.
After few steps you can appreciate the stunning view of the village and the sea from the roof terrace on the 3rd floor of the building.
The characteristic colored tower-houses are built following the steep orography of the hill and give a fantastic glance above all from the sea.

What To Expect
You want to make the BEST Pesto you’ve ever tasted? BOOK IT!
In this class you’ll learn the secrets of the history and the making from scratch of the best pesto in your life.
You'll learn how to make it from scratch by mortar ad pestle, according to the traditional technique and to the recipe of my grandmother.
STEP 1: in this first part of the class we will see the history of pesto and interesting topics about ingredients.
STEP 2: in this part of the class you’ll make your pesto starting from the seven traditional ingredients. Fragrant garlic and fresh basil will take over.
STEP 3: enjoy your handmade pesto over a plate of fusilli pasta and share conversation and a relaxed vibe with other guests.
Between pleasant chats you will discover the history and tradition behind which the flavors of Ligurian cuisine are hidden.
