Top Taormina Multi-day Tours

Sicilian Activies were not just a tour guide for us but support on our travels in Sicily. They provide several transfers and tours. They were also there to help when Mt Etna ash shut down the airport canceling our flight

Every aspect of this tour was top notch; the hotels, the locations visited, the food and the guides. The response time and customer service of this group is excellent. Book with confidence.

If you want to feel like you’re with your long lost cousin, taking you back home. He’s your guide. My son’s high school graduation gift was this trip. He related to him as well as me. We did things we wanted to do. No boredom here. THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS.

We really enjoyed this trip. It wasn’t too rushed. We met wonderful people on our tour and we enjoyed their company for the week. The tour enabled us to experience diverse places and activities within the group without being too rushed.

Getting up on the mountain for an all day outing was fantastic. Excellent guide and driver. Guide was engaging and knowledgeable, with lots of background information to answer our insatiable questions about the volcano and the history and the local flora. He tailored the itinerary to our interests and took us on a hike up several small craters that was well within our abilities but still challenging. After the hike, we were certainly ready for lunch, served at a local home on the mountain. We had a secluded table on a beautiful covered terrace, and when the mists came in and the temperature dropped, our hostess supplied a blanket and a heater. The aperitivo of home-cured olives and local cheeses and a light Etna white wine was a hit with our hungry group. The wine pairings for each course were excellent. We left very full!

Everyone in our group had a great time.  All their drivers and tour guides were excellent. Very knowledgeable,  professional, great recommendations for food and wines. Showed us details with all the locations and also brought us to unexpected areas around Taormina. Thank you Giocomo, Alessandra, Francesca and the driver that we cannot remember his name. Sorry driver.

This trip exceeded our expectations. Every aspect of the trip was well-coordinated and thoughtful. We had marvelous food (and a lot of it) and wine. The guides were super friendly & informative, and the logistics were flawless. There was a good balance between group activities and solo time that allowed us to explore on our own. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in a Sicilian food and wine.

My husband, friends, and I had a fabulous trip to Sicily with Sergio as our private guide? He is the kindest, most polite, and sweetest person, with knowledge of the island that made every moment feel effortless. From the moment he picked us up from the airport in Catania, he drove us through an unforgettable journey through Sicily’s stunning landscapes and hidden gems. We visited Catania, Taormina (a stunning place), and had an exhilarating climb up Mount Etna. I have to go back and do this again. Sergio then drove us to the ancient wonders of Syracuse and the old architect of Ortigia, followed by Noto, a town so captivating we never wanted to leave. He took us to several vineyards throughout Sicily for tastings and wonderful cheeses, and even to a hands-on pasta-making dinner high on the mountaintop of Castelmola, with panoramic views that stole our breath. Sergio then took us to the little town of Cefalu where we continued to shop, eat fabulous foods and drink wine. This trip held deep personal meaning, Sergio patiently guided me to my grandfather’s hometown of Santo Stefano Quisquina, even accompanying me to the municipal office to unearth more stories of my ancestors. We also ventured to my husband’s ancestral village of Castelbuono, a jaw-dropping gem of rugged beauty and timeless charm. We ended our trip exploring Palermo’s bustling streets and beautiful churches. Sicily is an absolute paradise. Sergio is hands down the number one guide—warm, insightful, and he felt like family. If you’re dreaming of Sicily, book him; you won’t regret it!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon touring Italy and I have to say our Sicilian experience was the absolute best part. Our travel agent hooked us up with Sicily By Experts and we didn't know quite what to expect. Angela and Giacomo were incredibly welcoming, warm, and excited to show us Sicily. We began in Taormina and spent a few nights there. Angela and Giacomo took us to an amazing winery on Mt Etna, a Michelin star restaurant in the mountains, the old city, and few other awesome activities. I could not believe how educated she is in Sicilian history and culture. Next, we went to Cefalu for a few nights. (Insanely amazing place). She surprised us with a super talented photographer who took incredible honeymoon pictures of us throughout the city of Cefalu. It was such a incredibly lovely gesture. The pictures are PRICELESS!!Anyway, I highly highly highly recommend this company. Not only will you have a "once in a life time", unique, and special experience, you will also gain lifelong friends.

This was our first time in Sicily and our goal was to see as much as we could without driving which can be challenging. Sicily Activities did a fantastic job in terms of knowledgeable guides and chosen restaurants. Aside from the hotel in Taormina, which we had been forewarned, the hotels were lovely, well located with great breakfasts. Fabio, the guide in Palermo, was exceptional. He spent extra time with our group of four as he his so passionate about his city’s history and architecture. We would have liked to spend the entire day with him.It was amazing all that we experienced in just eight days! Bravo to the entire team at Sicily Activities!

Wonderful time. Excellent guides. We saw so much history and culture. Well worth an overview and Sicily.

Our tour with Sergio was one of the best times we have ever had. Sergio and his colleague Salvatore made us feel so comfortable at all times. Their passion for Sicily is so amazing and their knowledge of each city we visited gave us a great experience. They recommended the most incredible restaurants and made sure even our pictures came out beautifully. They went above and beyond to make us happy and we were so pleased. They are so easy to get along with and we can truly say we have two new friends forever in Sicily.

Our guides were mostly on time. They really knew the history of each event we went on. The most leisurely drive was with Marco. I will be using tour radar in the future.

I can't remember a tour as good as this one. The sights are stunning, and our guides, Sergio and Salvador, provide excellent local knowledge. Live long residents who know Sicily inside out, including the most authentic restaurants. Our private vans were impeccably maintained and comfortable. Looking forward to our next trip.

My husband and I with 3 other couples of our friend group went on a Sicily Food and Wine Small group tour, including pre- and post- extended stay organized by Massimo and Alex. It was a dream vacation, absolutely incredible fairytale experience. Massimo and Alex were very professional and flexible. Because we filled the van with 8 people, which is the max size for small groups, we customized it for our needs. In order to have less travelling and more relaxation, we replaced the last 2 days in Palermo with the 5-star gorgeous resort near Siracusa – Minareto. Massimo suggested it, and was the highlight of our trip, gorgeous seaside luxury resort with unbelievable views and service, and a private sand beach.During our tour, they were very flexible when we wanted to make small changes as well and always responded quickly. Communication with the team was ongoing and helpful! The hotels they included were perfect, and always very convenient central locations. The drivers and guides were ALWAYS on time or earlier. Most lunches were included, and they were arranged in small, beautiful places, with delicious food and wine, the table was always set before we even got there. The tour was perfectly organized for us to see a lot, yet to have a restful and totally amazing carefree experience. Our favorite guide, Antonio, was totally superb – fun, kind, social, professional and extremely knowledgeable! Couldn’t ask for a more awesome guide! Oratsio was also excellent. Overall the scenery was spectacular, and our trip was totally amazing ! We are now planning to go with them to Amalfi coast in the next year or so, and we would go to other locations with them if they organized similar tours with a perfect balance of sightseeing and relaxing. Thanks to Massimo and his team of knowledgeable, responsible and professional colleagues of Sicily Activities, we had a dream of a vacation, it was a fairytale!

We booked two separate days with Mimmo Sicily Tours, which were in effect both transfer days (not consecutive) but with included sightseeing. We had different drivers on both days but both spoke English well. The driver did not act as a guide but he took us to where we wanted to go (nearest parking place) and gave directions to the various attractions and we agreed the pickup time. Could communicate on WhatsApp if things changed. The driver was very punctual both days in a clean Mercedes sedan. On one day we were catching the evening ferry to Malta and so the day was scheduled to end late so we could board the ferry directly. Price was not cheap but was reasonable considering if we had to hire a car including the day when we didn't need it, fuel and parking as well as the convenience of being able to be dropped off and picked up without having to worry about finding parking. Would definitely use them again.
