We just completed a daddy-daughter half day canyoneering event over the weekend. This is also our first time visiting Seattle.Although I was initially worried whether my 9 yo daughter could manage it, all worries washed away when we hit the trail. Both Sam and Austin were pros and totally supported my daughter through the initial trails and took her concerns away when she got scared.They know the back of the creek really well, and we really loved the outdoors here.This was the highlight of my 5 week visit to Seattle.I would totally recommend Sam and his wider team again for both the location and how accommodating they are to kids.

Brett was an excellent teacher! Great experience all around! Highly recommend anyone interested in getting into outdoor climbing take this course.

I was apprehensive because I’m 73 with limited repelling experience and I knew the water would be cold. I am so, so happy I overcame my misgivings, okay fears. I absolutely loved my experience. We went to Hidden Treasure with a real easy access and really beautiful water falls and forest. During the repel, I received very clear, precise instructions and I went down without a ‘hitch’. The water was cold but the suits we were given allow the water to evacuate quickly, I stayed warm. I have a hip and a knee replacement so Sam carefully chose a spot I could be successful at. Our two grandchildren, ages 2 and 5, loved it, too. When I saw the 5 year old jump off the cliff with his uncle, I resolved to jump also. In fact, I jumped twice. It was so beautiful and we created such a fabulous family memory; wonderful adventure. I definitely hope to do it again.

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had! I was a bit nervous trying something new but both guides were so patient and encouraging, the nerves went away quickly and the fun kicked in! I loved the variety of things you get to do such as repelling, sliding/jumping and even zip lining! This will 100% be an activity I do every summer!

So so so much fun and the guides were so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful! I had no idea you could canyon here in Washington but you definitely can. The river they took us to had so many fun waterfalls to rappel and slide down, all unique and fun! Highly recommend.

I did the 3 day Mount Baker climb with Miyar earlier this year, it was my first experience with backpacking/mountaineering. I had so much fun and felt so well taken care of I decided to sign up for the rock climbing class as well! All the staff is very friendly and willing to help with anything you need, as well as whenever I emailed with questions I heard back within 24 hours.

Back in July 2023, I got the chance to join a whitewater canyoning training led by Sam Keller from Wild Sky.I have to say, it was a brilliant experience.Sam is the kind of pro you'd want to have with you while canyoning. He's got this calm, reassuring leadership style that makes you feel comfortable right away, and it's clear he loves teaching and seeing people grow.He genuinely wants you to learn, have a good time, and, most importantly, stay safe. He lead the group to take on actually challenging actions that took our confidence in whitewater to a new level, all the while making sure safety was a top priority.I want to give a huge shout-out to Sam for his guidance, and I can confidently recommend Wild Sky for anyone looking to have a blast while canyoning.

We used this experience to get away from the kids. Yes, it was pricey, but they had ALL THE EQUIPMENT which was wonderful. They even had some extra stuff since i run on the cold side. They slowed down when i needed it and were wonderful with instructions. They have their own phones to take photos n videos of you so you dont have to worry about it. Despite my shoes being gr8 hiking shoes, they sucked for canyoneering. You really need something with grip in water. Needless to say, I googled their shoes and am buying them. They also had all the info on how I could further my own training. Awesome experience and if we have funds again next year, will most likely try a different experience! Thanks Austin and Sam, ya'll were wonderful, knowledgeable and hilarious.

What a great experience. Simon helped us get a feel for outdoor rock, and we had a blast. He was friendly and helped us get over our fears. We also learned a lot about knots, belaying and saferty while having fun. What a great way to spend the day!

My Girlfriend and I booked the trip through Cool Destinations about a month in advance. We expected to climb somewhere around Seattle but obviously the weather had other plans for us, so together with Sandeep and Glen, our instructor, we've decided to drive east to Frenchman Coulee for the day. We picked Glen from the store at 7am, Picked up all the necessary gear and befor you know it, we were on our way. Even though it took nearly two hours to get there, the time flew by as we had some really fun conversations with Glen and we got to know each other.Both my Girlfriend and I have never climbed outdoors before and Glen was more than patient with us, guiding us through everything from scratch (safety first!).The climb itself was really fun, You don't need to have any prior knowledge about climbing or have above-average strength to go all the way to the top of the rock (in most of the places). And even if you feel like the climb was easy, Glen can easily find a more challenging climb around for you to try. Before we knew it, it was already evening and we had to drive back. We had tons of fun, and next time we're in the area, we'll for sure book another climb with Miyar Adventures (Hopefully the weather will be kind to us, so we can a change of scenery)

We had an awesome time with Sam and Wild Sky Adventure Guides. Both guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. As a group of experienced canyoneers, they were able to tailor the trip to our skill set and provide a day worth remembering. They even sent us pics at the end. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

I've been canyoneering before, but in different places, and never like this!The canyon was better than anything I have ever done before! It was beautiful, engaging, and challenging.... But at the same time it was accessible and friendly.The adventure takes a base level of fitness, you have to be able to hike all day. But even though we spent hours in and out of the water I never got cold!Austin and Sam are obviously well trained, experienced, and run a great tour. They focused on safety from beginning to end. I felt challenged, but never unsafe.Make sure you bring dry shoes for after the trip. I forgot and had wet feet for the drive home!

What an amazing day! Amazing rappels and slides on a stunning day. Sam and Austin were amazing guides helping my daughter (14) and I get our first taste of real canyoneering. From education about how to rappel and how to navigate the currents, Sam and Austin made us feel safe and secure while moving through waterfalls and rapids. Don't miss out!

Full day of fun! It was a little chilly out and I was worried about being cold but the wet suits they provided were warm so no issues there!! Some of our friends have been on canyon adventures with other companies and they were lowered slowly over a couple water falls so we were hoping for a bigger adventure with Wild Sky and they did not disappoint! We got to experience the water falls rapping ourselves and many slides. Sam and Austin were a blast! they will help you as much as you need or as little as you want. Highly recommend going with Wild Sky Adventure Guides - You will not be disappointed!

Words can barely express how amazing this adventure was. It’s definitely my #1 favorite memory! Sam was so patient with us and super knowledgeable and funny. It’s an all day adventure that you won’t regret!
