Another amazing tour with Luna Tours and Hiking

We spent another wonderful day with Alejandro, owner of Luna Tours and Hiking. This was our 2nd time booking with him, and as before, our experience was exceptional. If you are looking for a small group, intimate tour, Alejandro and his company can't be beat.

Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had such a great experience with Alejandro, while visiting Nayarit! We actually ended up using his services twice during our trip, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed having him as our guide. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. He knew so much about the area and took us to places we probably never would have discovered on our own, which made our trip feel even more special. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving his guests a great experience, and we really appreciated how easy and enjoyable he made both of our days with him.If you’re visiting Nayarit or Puerto Vallarta and looking for someone reliable, knowledgeable, and professional, I would highly recommend him. We’ll definitely be reaching out again the next time we’re in the area!

He took us to beautiful beaches and led us through beautiful towns we would not have visited otherwise. Gracias, Alejandro fue un día muy agradable! Tu orgullo y amor por tu estado es evidente y fue un gusto conocer Nayarit contigo.

SINGLETRACK MOUNTAIN BIKE – Guided through the jungle

THE BEST tour operator in Mexico

Luna Tours and Hiking, lead by Alejandro and Moises, is by far, one of the best tour companies I have every come across. Not just in Mexico, but anywhere in the world - and I've traveled a lot. They are knowledgable, friendly, experienced and best of all, treat you like family. Over the years, we've taken many tours from them - Sayulita, Los Colomitos, snorkeling, city tours, etc. Look them up, read other reviews. Book a tour with them in Puerto Vallarta - you will not be sorry!

Fantastic Time

My wife and I booked three days of adventures through WildMex. We had an amazing time on each adventure. 2 Mountain Bike and one Surf. Our dude Milton was an excellent MTB guide and tailored the rides to what we wanted. Reasonable prices for the quality of service.

Puerto Vallarta jungle single track dirt bike experience.

This is an adventure through the jungle With some fairly rugged terrain. One for those who enjoy the endurance it requires to make this kind of trek. The guide was experienced and knowledgeable of the trails. Time of year may change conditions. We rode in the dry season, with a bit softer soils and sandy areas. Lots of free range areas with cattle roaming. Interesting to see how locals manage their herd. It was an experience of Puerto Vallarta without tourist/commercialization. Just you, the dirt bikes and the jungle. would not suggest for people who have not experienced off-road single track riding. If you have only ridden street, you may find this challenging. The nicest guide you could ask for. Very patient and cares about his customers experience.

Five star motorcycle tour not to be missed!

Fantastic experience of enjoyable and technical riding including woods roads, sandy and rocky river beds which catered to the client. The tour consisted of small town tours, mountain top vistas and stream crossings. The Honda 250 CRF I rode was late model, light nimble and a pleasure to ride.My guide, Jed was not only fluent in both languages, but had a raport with local vendors which included a geographic and historic background of the area.Looking forward to next year!

Mountain Bike Single Track Bliss

I had never biked in Sayulita before and did not realize there were single tracks that can be accessed right from town. Javier was my guide and not only did he provide a fantastic experience he also gave me some very good tips on how I could be better on my bike. Being from Colorado I have ridden a lot and even so, he improved on my skills considerably. My explanation of the trails will not do them justice, but they were truly unique and amazing. Riding through single tracks in the dense jungle was the highlight of my trip. There were technical sections that were challenging, but also some nice long stretches of up hill to get the heart pounding. The trail system is complicated, but easy to navigate with a guide. I would not take a beginner on these trails....the down hill sections were flowy and super fun. I highly recommend taking this excursion while in Sayulita or the surrounding area.

Amazing experience with Alejandro.

Alejandro was an exceptional guide. He was well-versed in local customs and culture. He pulled over along the trip when he saw a chance for us to get a glimpse into daily life in the area. Though we have been to Puerto Vallarta many times, We learned a great deal during our tour. If you are looking for a rich cultural experience in a private tour, this is the one for you!Thank you so much, Alejandro. We really appreciated our experience.

Amazing hikes with Alex - one in the Sierra Madre and one along the coast

I met Alex in 2022, when he took me on a wonderful hike along the coast near Puerto Vallarta - it was the highlight of that trip. I knew that when I took my husband and three young adult children to Sayulita this past December I would have Alex take us hiking. I booked him in October to avoid disappointment. He took us on a breathtaking hike along the coast with a stop at a quiet, calm, protected beach where we swam, ending up at a small town. We LOVED it. Alex knows the names of almost every plant and animal with intimate knowledge of the ecology of Mexico’s vast natural treasures. We also learned about Mexican politics and indigenous populations. The second hike was in the mountains to a secret waterfall. We only saw one other person on the hike, which involved walking in a river to reach the waterfall. On the way we stopped at a local bakery and an agave field, where Alex told us how tequila is made.If you will be visiting the west coast of Mexico near PV, or in Nayarit PLEASE contact Alex. It will be the highlight of your trip!

Great trip with Alejandro!

This was such a worthwhile experience! Each of the charming towns that we visited really showed a wonderful, vibrant slice of Mexican life. Each of the towns were beach – oriented, but every one of them had a very specific vibe of its own.
