Top Brno Outdoor Activities

We were picked at our Brno hotel promptly at 9. The car was comfortable and Rosta was a safe driver. We toured beautiful palaces, had two wine tastings - one in a traditional wine cellar - and learned a lot about South Moravian history and we drove through the countryside. This was a highlight of our central European vacation.

Roman was really knowledgeable and friendly :) he showed us around Mikulov and we really had a great time there! 😊😊

It does require a bit of walking and up and down stairs. This was not a problem for ourselves as the guide kept a good pace. Our driver and guide Helena was fantastic. Before and after the caves she sowed some beautiful churches in the small towns going to and back.

The trip was wonderful, and we had a fantastic experience! Our guide, Helen, was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. She stayed with us for almost the entire day and provided us with lots of interesting information about the caves, as well as the history and culture of Brno. Her explanations made the trip much more enjoyable and meaningful. We truly appreciated her enthusiasm and professionalism. Highly recommended!

Amazing hike, Maria was very knowledgeable about all the history and is a very sweet tour guide. The caves were amazing, absolute must see. I would recommend this trip 5 stars for sure.

This was one of the best travel experiences that my wife and I have had! Roman was extraordinarily helpful; he was very flexible with arranging the time of our departure. He provided a wonderful curated tour of the history, culture, and sites of Moravia. In eight hours, we heard about history, visited village squares, had two chateau visits, and a wine tasting. Roman is congenial and gregarious. You can’t go wrong with this tour!

When I returned to China and transferred these photos from my camera, I found myself reminiscing about the wonderful time I spent with Rost’a in South Moravia. Rost’a is an incredibly friendly and easy-going guide. The itinerary he arranged was not only filled with beautiful landscapes but also highlighted the unique local culture and heritage of the region. Although it was an extremely hot day, Rost’a never showed any impatience. Instead, he remained enthusiastic throughout the journey, sharing everything he knew about the history, culture, and interesting stories of the places we visited. This trip was much more than just sightseeing — it was a meaningful experience that allowed me to truly connect with the beauty and spirit of South Moravia. I will always treasure these memories and continue to look back on this unforgettable journey.

Helena was a great host. Very friendly and kind. Knows a lot about the area and was very flexible. I brought my dad to Europe to have surgery so I was travelling by myself while not at the hospital. I really enjoyed having someone to spend time with and tell me about the area.

Helen was our tour guide. I can't say enough about how fantastic she was. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the caves. She ensured we had all our needs met and questions answered. I would book any tour with Helen again! We had a delightful traditional lunch and she gave us a ride to another place and included history/info continuously as we went. One of my favorite tours of this trip.

We had a lovely day with Marie who showed us around the beautiful Moravian hills and caves, sharing her love and knowledge of the area……. But it was way too expensive for what it was, I felt the tour was totally overpriced .

Rosťa provided a wonderful tour of the South Moravian wine country with narration about the area and it's history. The van was comfortable, with AC being very nice to have on a hot, summer day. We got to taste wine from a couple of different wineries and enjoy a nice, traditional Czech lunch in a quaint restaurant. The highlight of the trip for us was getting to go into a private wine cellar. Rosťa was very knowledgeable about the area's history and had prepared audio files to share with us while traveling. All-in-all an absolutely fantastic trip that I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Roman is fantastic; he presented the highlights of South Moravia with a special focus on wine from 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM. He provided us with regional wine at two locations upon request, and this was at a reasonable price. He answered all questions, was interested, polite, and attentive. We can only recommend the tour.

Highly recommend a tour with Rosta! He tailored a great wine/walking/culture day for us and it was perfect. Highly informative and a definite highlight of our time in the Czech Republic. He gave us great recommendations as well. I recommend this tour and will be contacting Rosta again when close to Brno!
