Top Belize Ziplines

The adventure was quite exhausting. It required quite a bit of trekking through the rain forest. By the end of the day, I was completely spent. The guides were amazing, friendly and extremely competent. The ziplining itself was thrilling. I would do it again for sure, but I would recommend you be somewhat fit due to the heat and the hiking.

Andreas and Victor were knowledgeable and hospitable guides. They shared interesting historical and cultural tidbits while on the tour. They provided water twice along the way. Very accommodating of our kids. We felt very safe and saw amazing views along the way. Well worth the money for an experience of a lifetime.

Beautiful hike where we saw plants we’d never seen before. Waterfall repelling was definitely the hardest part of the adventure with the slick rocks but this 45 yr old mom and my teen boys (14 and 18) made it. I’d say younger than 14 may have issues standing back up after falling with the water pounding you. Ziplining was great- the guides do all the clipping in and out for you and took the time to show you safety protocols so we always felt safe. Cool to hear howler monkeys in the distance

Tour was fabulous! The tour guide, Jose, was very knowledgeable of the area and gave us a thorough history of Belize on the way there and back (1.5 hours each way). They had the zip lining down to a science. You moved through the jungle quickly and I felt like each technician was knowledgeable and safety conscious. Our guide throughout the hiking and tubing was a wealth of information about the vegetation and cave, also. The lunch was relaxing and delicious.

My wife and I loved the Zipline and waterfall repelling tour! The guides were awesome - very friendly, professional and knowledgeable (bonus - learned about different birds, animals, and fauna). We even saw howler monkeys! Bocawina is a really beautiful rainforest, so the scenery was great! Make sure to bring LOTS of bug spray though and good shoes for hiking and getting wet. The Zipline was awesome - you get to ride 9 different lines with the longest being over 1300 feet. The rides take you through the middle of the trees - beautiful and fast! This was just a great day overall!!

Elvin our private tour guide was amazing. He was on time and took great care of us. The ziplining was fun and the tubing so relaxing. . Lunch was the best. Would recommend this to anyone seeking adventure.

Amazing time with Sandy and Emilio. It was our first time zip lining and they were super informative and patient. They also had great safety measures when coming in too fast on the line. Would definitely recommend!!

Amazing activity — Fred and Antonio were incredibly kind and full of enthusiasm, which made the experience even better. We did this zipline seven years ago, and it was wonderful to return and see how the site has evolved. The improvements are impressive, and the place is still just as beautiful as we remembered.

My daughter (20) and I did the ziplining and waterfall rappelling and had a great time. The ziplining was the best that we've done, with one line over 1/4 mile. The staff focused on safety for both activities and we felt comfortable the whole time. The rappelling was not easy but also not too difficult, it should be a good challenge for any novices or people that haven't rappelled before. It was a great day!

Jorge was an excellent tour guide. I came from Atlanta Georgia to have fun for my birthday. Correy suggested cave tubing. Jorge delivered!! From the safety instructions, to the guide. Jorge explained ants, leaves, poisons, allspice, EVERYTHING 💥👏

Such an unforgettable experience! From the beginning, we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The zipline was so much fun and the guides made sure we were all safe. A highlight was getting to walk across the hammock bridge! Lunch was divine; complements to the chef! The hike up to Antelope falls was a workout but so worth it. The view of the valley at the top was one everyone needs to see in their lifetime. It's MAJESTIC! and the reward of swimming under the fresh, cold falls was reviving and so satisfyingly good! Bocawina is a must once you're in Belize!

I've been on several ziplines in different countries. While this one isn't extraordinary, it was fun and worth the money. It is definitely the best course in Belize.There are 9 lines; the longest one is an impressive 2,300 feet long. Half of the lines are pretty fast, but you can control the speed using your gloved hand as a brake by loosely half-closing around the cable behind you as you zip.There's some short uphill hiking and stairs between zipline platforms, but nothing challenging. I recommend zipping after morning hiking. The zipline can be done in the hotter afternoon since it only takes about 1.5 hours, and the short climbs between platforms are shaded. The ziplines are exposed to the sun, but the breeze during each zip means you don't really feel more heat like you do when you're hiking.The guides were personable and professional. They were well trained and used certified equipment. Even though there were about 11 of us in the group, the two guides kept it moving efficiently. I've been on many zipline course, and this one was by far the most efficient for a group of that size. Though there aren't any views on this course (trees and more trees), it was a fun experience. .***Although I believe this course can be done by first-time zippers and children alike, there are a few things to consider before booking:1. You need to use your dominant hand as a brake. It's not difficult, but some people might not be comfortable with that.*Note: There ARE safety brake stops at the end of each zipline which function like speedbumps, but zippers are not supposed to approach the platforms at full speed, so some hand-braking is required.2. Zippers do not practice beforehand. One of the guides explains and demonstrates on a short horizontal cable while zippers watch at eye level, but after that, it's off to the races with a 10ish minute hike up to the first platform.3. Some lines are taut and others slack. This means 2 things: • Not every zip is the same speed. • Too much braking on a slower line with slack can result in zippers stopping short of the platform because they lack the momentum needed to zip upwards at the end of a drooping line. *If this happens, the zipper must travel the last 5 -10 feet or so hand-over-hand to reach the platform.This is part of the explicit guide demonstration before the course. Zippers can inch up sideways or hang from a sitting position facing backwards, but moving head first toward the landing platform. It sounds scarier than it is. The slowing is so gradual that you eventually come to a dead stop, grabbing the line with the gloved brake hand that's already in position before reaching up to grab the line with the other bare hand.I was the first to zip. Not knowing there was a brake-stopper, I overestimated how much braking was needed and had to come in hand-over-hand up a drooping line. I enjoyed it, but it could be off-putting to a nervous first-timer. .In summary, I recommend the Bocawina Park and enjoyed both the hike and the ziplining.*If you have a rental car, you don't need an all inclusive tour package with transportation and a hiking guide. We drove about 25 minutes to the park from Hopkins, paid the $10 or $15 entrance fee, and hiked the Antelope Trail by ourselves before driving 5 minutes more to the main parking lot where the zip course is located.The check-in office is by the restaurant. Check in and sign a waiver, use the restroom, then head to the zip "shack" to get geared up.

The guides were absolutely professional patient and funny. The views were stunning and they told us the best places to look as we went down the lines! I felt safe the entire time and when my sister was nervous at one point they were patient and helped her get through it to ensure she and everyone else had the best experience!!

This was a fantastic family activity! We had five children 10 and under and the guides were great with them. Encouraged them, made them feel safe and zip lined with them when needed. The grounds were beautiful and the restaurant was top notch. Would highly recommend this to anyone exploring the area and wanting to do some ziplining!
