Beautiful hike where we saw plants we’d never seen before. Waterfall repelling was definitely the hardest part of the adventure with the slick rocks but this 45 yr old mom and my teen boys (14 and 18) made it. I’d say younger than 14 may have issues standing back up after falling with the water pounding you. Ziplining was great- the guides do all the clipping in and out for you and took the time to show you safety protocols so we always felt safe. Cool to hear howler monkeys in the distance

My wife and I loved the Zipline and waterfall repelling tour! The guides were awesome - very friendly, professional and knowledgeable (bonus - learned about different birds, animals, and fauna). We even saw howler monkeys! Bocawina is a really beautiful rainforest, so the scenery was great! Make sure to bring LOTS of bug spray though and good shoes for hiking and getting wet. The Zipline was awesome - you get to ride 9 different lines with the longest being over 1300 feet. The rides take you through the middle of the trees - beautiful and fast! This was just a great day overall!!

My daughter (20) and I did the ziplining and waterfall rappelling and had a great time. The ziplining was the best that we've done, with one line over 1/4 mile. The staff focused on safety for both activities and we felt comfortable the whole time. The rappelling was not easy but also not too difficult, it should be a good challenge for any novices or people that haven't rappelled before. It was a great day!

Such an unforgettable experience! From the beginning, we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The zipline was so much fun and the guides made sure we were all safe. A highlight was getting to walk across the hammock bridge! Lunch was divine; complements to the chef! The hike up to Antelope falls was a workout but so worth it. The view of the valley at the top was one everyone needs to see in their lifetime. It's MAJESTIC! and the reward of swimming under the fresh, cold falls was reviving and so satisfyingly good! Bocawina is a must once you're in Belize!

Andres, Victor, and Akeem were fantastic guides. We ended up doing the harder, longer hike and rappell down antelope falls and no one complained when we needed to stop and rest every 5 minutes lol. Ziplining was great too, felt safe the entire time. 10/10 recommend!

This trip was awesome! Views, tours, activities were better than expected but the staff was AMAZING!!!! I want to give a sincere thanks to Akim, Carlos, Victor, Presley, Tristan, Kayla and Yasmin for making the trip feel so special. Everyone was warm and friendly and willing to go the extra mile. To wake up in a jungle/rainforest and have a cup of fresh coffee and sit on the porch and listen to the birds and howler monkeys in the morning was priceless. The guides were professional and knowledgeable and really seemed to want us to have a once in a lifetime experience. I would 100% recommend

The staff at Bocawina Resort organize the tours not the National Park Service. I did the zip line and rappelling down the Bocawina Falls. The staff were great and very attentive. The zip line is the second longest in Belize. I was alone for the falls rappelling.However, it’s best you find your way to the National Park as the Bocawina Resort will charge you an exorbitant fee to pick you up. I paid $90 USD to go 30 minutes from Hopkins and back. That’s highway robbery in my view. When we came back to my hotel they brought staff with them so they could go to the ATM, on my dime. I felt used by the resort staffBut I had a great time having the adventure

This was HIGH on my bucket list. So glad we did it, and will look to do it again. A fun group of four couples and it was a great time to share with all. We had epic rains the night before, and the falls were huge. We were in the middle of them which made the adventure that more exciting and fun! Many photos show people going down to the side of the falls over the rocks, with a little bit of water. We had massive water and it was a blast! Sandy and Victor were our guides and made sure we were always safe. The zipline tour at the end was also a big thrill, fun and fast! Can't wait to come back to try it again. Do not miss this adventure. What a grand time we all had!!

This Bocawina Adventure waterfall and zipline tour was outstanding!!! It had rained the night before, so the water was high and mighty. We were with a large group and the intimidation factor was running high. However, our guides [Sandy and Victor] calmly reassured the timid that everything would be fine. With perfect instruction and tethered safely, everyone made the descent. It was a tremendous morale booster and group bonding moment. We then moved to the extensive zipline. Fast, long and fun the zipline was easy and exhilarating!!!! A great way to finish the adventure. One note: Wear long pants, water socks, closed toe water shoes, long sleeved shirt and tons of bug spray. The Botlass Flies in that part of the jungle are brutal.

Victor and sandy were awesome. They know their business and they are great at it. Whether a zip line or the waterfall repelling they were the tour guides you want. Felt safe, knew we were in good hands and just nice fun people! Don’t use anyone else for jungle activities. These guys are the best.

From the moment, we walked into the office and heard ken’s laughter, to the time we left after dark...we have wonderful experiences. We met the manager...who was beyond friendly and we could see the product of her hard work all around the place. The grounds are meticously and beautifully kept, the restaurant was beautiful, the food was as delicious as it was stunning, and the bathroom even made us smile. Milton and Herson were great zip line guides....not once was there a question of safety. They pointed out things of nature. We hiked to a couple falls. This entire place is a gem of a place. Highly recommend.

First real zipline experience. I’m 69 years old and was a bit worried about the trek up the hill. It was easy and made all the better by our guide’s (Wilson and Sandy) knowledge about the rainforest fauna and flora. Great sense of humour and at the same time dead serious about safety. The lines were amazing. 9 in all. Some very long ones. Breathtaking. Highly recommend!

The guides were energetic and fun. Climbing was great exercise and the ziplines were thrilling. I could do it all day. The views were awesome.

Our family (including 3 children 11-15 yrs old) did the waterfall rappelling and zipline tours. Both of our guides (Milton and ???) were wonderful and made the adventure fun for our children as well. Our tour started with a hike up to the waterfall with a stop at a swimming hole with its own small waterfall. The hike is moderate to difficult (mainly due to the steepness of the walk) but our children managed it without issue. Never felt unsafe. Along the hike, the guides point out interesting insects, plants, etc. and take breaks to make the hike not feel like work. The stop at the swimming hole is refreshing. You can climb the rocks and jump into the pool. We ate a small snack there as well - chicken panini and plantain chips. Rappelling along/in the waterfall was next. Our family had never rappelled before and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We felt safe and the guides were very helpful in explaining the technique. If you fear heights (which my daughter and I do), you may have to challenge yourself, but again, we were always tied off and never felt unsafe. You will get wet as you literally are rappelling next to and in a waterfall. After rappelling, you begin the hike down and stop at a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the valley below. Great picture opportunity. Once back, we ate lunch at the restaurant (nachos were great) and then began the zip line adventure. We have ziplined several times before (Kapalua is the best so far) and this is a solid zip line tour with some great views and good length runs. We were not disappointed. We saw some howler monkeys during our tour as well. In all, this is a full day tour, with the rappelling taking about 4 hrs and the zipline another 2 hrs. You will be tired after all the adventures but it is well worth it. We did not stay at the Bocawina resort.

My husband and I went to Bocawina for a half day excursion to repel the falls and zipline in the rain forest. My husband is not a fan of "hiking" but the hike to the falls was not bad at all, nothing too steep so that was helpful to keep his spirits high. Going down the falls was intense and a bit scary but our guides Wilson and Victor were awesome! They were reassuring and were great at guiding us down. The best part was once I got to the bottom of the falls it started to rain, in the rain forest, it was such a cool experience after having the adrenaline so high to take in the beauty of the falls, the greenery, and the rain. We hiked back and chatted with Wilson about the forest and the animals and he was so fun to talk to. We had a break for lunch and the food was GREAT! they also have fruit infused water which was so refreshing. The second leg of the day was the zip lining. We had zip lined previously in Costa Rica and loved it but Zip Lining in Bocawina did not disappoint. I think it was more enjoyable because of Wilson and Victor keeping us laughing the whole way. We had to do a lot of climbing to get to a lot of the platforms but the rush and the views were incredible. What I will say is if you do this tour, be smarter than my husband and I and bring extra clothes for after the waterfall. They do that first so if you don't want to sit around in wet clothes for hours it will be smart to change before the ziplining. Also, bring water shoes and LOTS of bug spray. We definitely got bit but it could have been way worse.
