Kuba was an excellent host and guide – enthusiastic and friendly. We spent a wonderful three hours exploring the old town and sampling traditional Polish dishes, such as pierogies (both sweet and savoury) and rye flour soup, across a variety of settings ranging from a Bar Mleczny to a cozy local restaurant. Kuba made the experience truly engaging by sharing the history and background behind each dish. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would happily recommend it to anyone interested in food and local history.

This is an intimate salon. The musician we saw, Stefan Walczyuiesie. Was spectacular! Our hostess was a writer and read from her book, recited her beautiful poetry to set a wonderful mood for Chopin and Stefan’s virtuoso performance. Highly recommended!

Excellent tour. Got to see lots of Warsaw and understand the history. I have such a newfound respect for the people of Poland and their ability to persevere. Lots of walking so make sure you are up for that. Could hear the guide easily.

He was exceptionally knowledgeable, warm, polite and friendly, and his passion for Warsaw’s Jewish history and heritage was evident throughout the entire tour.Gawel brought the history to life with fascinating stories, detailed historical knowledge and a genuine understanding of the Jewish experience in Warsaw. He was also extremely thoughtful and attentive, taking the time to answer all of our questions and making the tour feel personal and meaningful.We would highly, highly recommend Gawel to anyone wanting to explore Warsaw’s Jewish history and heritage. An outstanding guide and a wonderful experience!

This was an excellent, well-organized tour. I was picked up at my hotel and taken to Warsaw Central Station for the train to Krakow. Clear written and verbal instructions ensured I understood the day’s itinerary. In Krakow, we began with the Birkenau camp museum, where our knowledgeable English-speaking guide explained the exhibits and shared insights from survivors she had interviewed during her studies. We then continued to Auschwitz, where she provided another thorough account of the atrocities committed there. Afterward, we returned to the station with ample time to explore Krakow before our train, allowing me to shop and photograph this beautiful city. Overall, it was a very worthwhile experience.My only constructive suggestion is to present all upgrade options at the time of booking. The day before the tour, I learned about premium high-speed train service and alternative travel schedules between Warsaw and Krakow. Although I appreciated these options and chose to upgrade, I would have preferred to make those arrangements in advance rather than while already traveling in Poland. Offering these choices from the outset would make the experience even more seamless. Aside from this, the tour was excellent, and I highly recommend it.

Easy to navigate and informative at a basic level, if you don't know much about Warsaw, which I didn't.

Staying in Warsaw for the first time visiting with my sister from the UK Staying at Chopin Boutique and this evening attended a luminous candlelit (with wine!) piano recital at the Chopin Salon located within the hotel where Vinayak Chaturvedi performed some of Chopin favourite works as well as one of his own compositions called River of Chopin, which we loved, so beautiful, moving and creative Staff really friendly and helpful (maps, advice, help with train booking) Highly recommend I’m going to come back with my husband next time

Lots of of fun and well informed tour guide. Would definitely do again. Have a couple drinks prior and bring a jacket
