Top-rated Selçuk Attractions, Landmarks & More

Bought the Ephesus trip without admission fees included, but was definitely given clear information about that and prices at the stops. It was a hot hot day and our guide Kaya made sure to get us shade when possible and gave relevant history nuggets. There is a long history, and he did a great job simplifying it. Our driver Hussein was excellent, very safe driving and AC was incredible. No lunch, didn’t necessarily need the stop at the rug school, but did enjoy the coffee and Turkish delights at the stops along the way.

This was a great tour where we learned so much about the ruins. Our guide was very informative and well organized. It was nice not being in a huge crowd. The Turkish bath was a really cool experience and gave us a lot of insight into Turkish culture.

Ali was a great tour guide! Excellent vehicle with air conditioning. Super interesting tour. Lunch was good. Rug demonstration at the end is interesting, just let them know that you don’t want one if you are not in the market for a rug.

We had a wonderful day with our guide Petra on the Ephesus tour. She took us first to the House of the Virgin Mary and then through the ancient ruins of Ephesus. Petra was incredibly knowledgeable and very informative throughout, she shared so many fascinating details that really brought the history to life. On top of that, she was super friendly and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable for everyone in our group. We highly recommend this tour and Petra specifically!

Josh was great he was friendly and really knew all about the sites we visited.. He would highly recommend him as a guide. Like on other tours in Turkey we were also brought to a carpet factory and leather maker. It was educational and gave the opportunity to purchase these items although it was listed on the tour

I kept wondering did I forget to pay for something. What a value. Clean private van with dedicated driver and guide. Lori was off the charts good. We talked about what we wanted to see and she made sure we saw it. We could have done more, but we were getting tired. Lori really knows her stuff. She loves Turekie and it shows.

We did this tour during our recent cruise and Esra was an amazing guide! She met us at the port and was amazingly friendly. Our first stop was Mary's house and between Esra and the driver we got there in time to beat the tour buses. We had the house practically for ourselves. Her guide for us through the Ephesus archangelical site and Terrace Houses was full of great information and was one of the highlights of the entire cruise. Esra (and her husband who is also a guide) have a passion for sharing her country with travelers and it showed in how she took care if us during the day. As a surprise, since we had time, she brought us to a local ceramics artis gallery where we were treated with Turkish tea, received an explanation of the lost art and where we enjoyed the gallery and beautiful art. We would highly recommended specifically requesting that Esra be your guide when you book a tour. If you do, you'll have a great day without a doubt.

Very good French guide who knew a lot about the history of Ephese, the making of Turkish carpets and who brought us to a restaurant that made us taste several specialties of the country

Fatih our guide was excellent. We would recommend his tour. He was very knowledgeable and willing to change as the day went along.

Mahmat and Arwin (?) were fabulous! Our private tour was memorable. The guide, Mahmat, was informative and helpful, and our skilled driver got us safely to each location. We were able to view more than what was on our agenda because of the generosity of these two men.

A very well organized tour booked hosted hy Gezenthi travel. All day trip to pamukkale/hieropolis was conducted in both english and spanish by the guide. Good value and worth the cost.

The trip was great! Ahmed was very knowledgeable about the area and incredibly patient with our kids. Best tour of our entire trip!

Ephesus is one of the most important sights of Western Turkey. The organization by Cool Destinations was excellent.

This was a bucket list trip for me. The tour was well organized and paced. The tour guide Ernan was knowledgeable and made the experience informative and interesting. A great experience.

We travelled in March 2024. The ship excursion would not take my mobility scooter, so we search for an alternative. Boy were we happy to find this company. The price for a private tour for the two of us was comparable to a bus tour from the ship. The experience was much better! Our driver and guide looked after us like we were family. They brought us to the most accessible entrance at Ephesus, and showed us the highlights. We were amazed at how small the reputed home of Mary was. We had a great day and would not hesitate to use Neopolis Travel again. You can't go wrong on their tours.

Baris was an amazing guide—he was so knowledgeable and made our trip both intellectual and fun. Our visit to Turkey would not have been the same without him! Would highly recommend the private tour of Ephesus with a delicious lunch.
