Roatan 2026 Calendar of Events

Abner was fantastic! He did all our dives with us and was very knowledgeable about the sites and animals along the reef. He also took a lot of photos and videos of the animals we saw, as well as shots of us, which were amazing. We did a night dive with him, and the way he got us all to turn the lights off at the end to see the bioluminescence was incredible! He was very accommodating for our large party and I can’t recommend diving with him, and with West Bay Divers enough. He was also very encouraging without being bullying when one diver in our party was nervous on the first dive. She completed the dives and was grateful for it. He prioritizes safety and is very mindful. Also his mustache regulator attachment is hilarious.The staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and my friends, who were variably getting certified, getting a Nitrox cert, and doing some refresher courses, had nothing but good things to say. Our boat captains were very friendly and helpful.We’ll definitely go with West Bay Divers again the next time we’re in Roatan.

Our group had a great few days diving with Takeshi. He knew the sites inside and out, kept everyone safe, and made sure each of us got the most out of every dive. Easy to work with and clearly loves what he does. I'd recommend him to any group looking to get out on the water

Edward was amazing. He answered all our questions and made sure we got the best experience at the animal preserve. Very personal service it was just my fiancé and myself in the group.

Kislen just toured us around Roatan and our family had the best time. Sloths, monkeys, and ATV tour It made for the perfect day. We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back! We used Roatan Henry Tour with Pixie Vacations

Had an enjoyable day at Roatan. Our driver, Trent, was very helpful, since we were not sure where we wanted to go. He arranged a snorkeling trip for us with a small local outfit at the last minute, and had a great time swimming in the reef.

Stanley was amazing. He was the perfect guide for this trip! It was our first time in Roatan and he gave us plenty of information.

Great experience. Fun holding the monkeys. Franklin was great.

Awesome personalized tour with Kimbron! He is very knowledgeable and showed us around the island. Great value and much cheaper than taking a taxi. Our tour lasted about 4 hours but it could’ve been longer if we wanted to. Great pickup, he was even early. Super recommended!!!!

The Open Water certification course was great. The course was well explained in advance and followed again as it progressed here. The staff was very helpful and courteous. My instructor Arturo was patient and knowledgeable. And the certification dives were beautiful.

My daughter and I thought we would just try scuba diving but Lisa made it so approachable, was so encouraging and kind that we decided to go from Discover Scuba to Open Water Training. Lisa was really patient and thorough and we had the best time learning how to scuba and exploring the amazing Roatán reefs. Captain Tyron was amazing - kept us smiling and kept our loads light! Marcos was another kind instructor on board who we was hysterical and fun to wave to in passing under water. Definitely dive with these guys! Couldn’t have had a better experience!

Everything was easy as far as getting off the boat and the meeting spot was very well written in the description. Several people were there to greet us and get us to our transportation. Our drivers name was Franklin and he made the 40 minute ride to the ATV’s enjoyable with history of The island and many other things of note in the ride. All in all we felt we were in good hands the whole time. The ATV rentals were also great and the crew that led the tour made it very welcoming and easy. All in all we had a great time from beginning to ending at the monkey/sloth rescue facility in which our tour there was also amazing.

Loved our ATV adventure with wildlife experience. We booked this tour because they allowed both my terns to ride their own vehicle. Loved this!The tour takes you on some paved roads, through the jungle. Then, traverse some gravel and dirt roads. You will go through a Garifuna village and stop there to grab drinks and possibly souvenir jewelry for extra. Bring cash for this.The views of the ocean along Mahogany Bay are gorgeous. The ride can get muddy so dress accordingly. We loved this part of the tour.The animal sanctuary was not our main focus but we enjoyed the place. We got to interact with the monkeys and birds in their enclosures. The sloths are in trees and laws don’t allow you to hold them but you can get up close to see them.Our driver was Derrick and he gave us excellent insights about the island and the locals. So friendly and full of great information about Roatan. So glad we had him to narrate the sights of the island during our drive from and back to the hotel.

Shout out to Abner for making my wife feel comfortable clearing her mask under water and walking us through the refresher course. We had a great experience and saw turtles, rays, eels, seahorses and an abundance of fish. He made us feel comfortable under water and knew the reef like the back of his hand. Captain Tyrone was also very accommodating and both were very friendly., positive, and easy to get along with. The staff at the shop were also a pleasure to speak with. Overall a great experience and will come back for many more years to come

Josh was amazing. He took us everywhere and told a lot about the environment. I would definitely do this tour again.

Our guide was Trent. He was very informative about the island and was very respectful. If we are able to go again in the future I will definitely request for Trent to be our guide again.

Diving with WBD was so fun! Sergio was my private dive master for a few dives and I loved his relaxed and analytical style. It’s exactly what I needed to build confidence in certain areas I felt were lacking. He gave me a breathing tip that completely ended my struggle with buoyancy, and that was EVERYTHING!We did a night dive which as so much fun and Sergio went over all of the procedures meticulously and didn’t rush us while doing it. He also went over analyzing my Nitrox tank. In the past other instructors would just do it for me, which didn’t help me learn.Just be aware that you will have to pay at the dive shop. Although they work with Kimpton, you can’t charge it to your room and they don’t send payment links because some shady people in the past skipped out on their bill, which sucks! This was the only small annoyance.Hannah took my pictures and she was also awesome to work with. Everyone else who I haven’t named was also just good vibes. You can’t go wrong going with WBD.
