Manila 2026 Calendar of Events

Tour guide RJ was great. We learned quite a bit. Traveling around by car was great due to to the rain. I have some more visitors coming next month, so I booked this tour again to show them the New and Old Manila.

Fun to be on a bike in Manila, and that it feels like sustainable tourism. Great way to explore Intramuros! Note: while most tours include the guide sending a welcome message with reminder about meeting point, this tour did not. Traffic can be crazy, so make sure to allow more time than you think to get to Bambikes Ecotours.

We had an incredible tour. Our guide went above and beyond to make a memorable and meaningful experience. We had a long layover in Manila and booked this tour. It was a perfect way to make the most of our short time in Manila. We learned so much about the history, people, and culture. Definitely recommend!

A very unique tour! I was totally clueless to filipino culture before this excursion, my guide Christian was very knowledgeable & explained everything in detail. The bamboo bicycles was main reason for booking the tour, cause that’s unique on its own, but the history about this country is fascinating.

Evened the trip upriver. Beautiful day, views and people. Everyone was a joy and enhanced the experience.

Nice experience to see cultural songs and dance of Philippines for first timers in Manila. So family be proud of Folipino heritage.

It's a buffet dinner with a cultural show. It was very entertaining, the performance are very good with lots of colorful local attire. We enjoyed it very much.

In the very short time we had to spend in Manila, Stella and Marlon made sure we traveled efficiently and covered all sites with plenty of time at each stop. Stella was so knowledgeable and willing to share extra information about lifestyles and culture. We also laughed a lot! Worth every cost and so much more.

I flew for two days from Puerto Rico and my tour guide was the best possible host I could ask for. He and our driver were very kind, patient, knowledgeable about Manila's history, and went out of their way to take care of my needs. It was a very pleasant tour and welcome to the Philippines.

Amazing tour even through the rain. Our tour guide Christian was amazing very engaging and knowledgeable made the experience a complete joy and created great vibes for everyone. Couldn’t recommend more.

The bike gets you from A to B. Not hard at all Guide (Chi) was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and I never felt rushed when looking at the sites

Enjoyed a wonderful evening here with my fiancé. The food was great. The dance show and staff were highly skilled and the night was great value for money

Lovely tour guide and driver. Considerate company -> picked me up from my hotel which was not in metro manila but was directly en-route to the destination. I was unwell on the tour and they accommodated for this brilliantly (water, take-away coffee/food, timely, allowed rest sections). To be honest - if I wasn't unwell, I would have liked a stop or two more however this was just enough for me for the day and is really a great relaxing half-day tour.

This is an incredible experience however it is a long drive from Manila, you need to have cash because everyone is expecting a tip and you don't spend that long at the waterfall. The tour guide was friendly and had lots of facts about manila on the way there. On arrival you can get changed and then get on the boat. Don't let the lady take your picture if you're not going to buy it as a souvenir at the end (400 pesos for two photos). The boatmen are incredible and carry the boat with you in it upstream at some points. It is hard work while you enjoy incredible views of the river. The seating position in the boat is not the most comfortable for 2 hours but it's important for boat balance. At half way the boatmen take a break and you're asked if you want to buy food and drinks for your boatmen (400 pesos for two cokes and some chicken). It's hard to say no when you've just watched them drag you upstream but I'm not convinced they have time to eat it as after pictures they then get you back on the boat. Once you get to the waterfall you have chance for pictures then there is a bamboo raft that takes you behind the waterfall. The raftmen want a tip. Then you get back on the boat and shoot the rapids downstream back. There is not time to relax and just take in the waterfall and we felt a bit rushed. You have to wear a lifejacket and helmet and we didn't get chance to take these off for our photos. Once you're back you tip your boatmen, then you can shower, get changed and then have lunch. The food was OK but we felt the vibe shifted when we didn't buy extra drinks or the souvenir photos. Overall the nature and views are incredible but it's a little ruined by the pressure to tip everyone individually (3 raftmen, 2 boatmen, driver, tour guide, cooks and host).

Very knowledgable guide and gave lots of information and was very passionate about the Philippines Was very interesting all the Information that was shared

First, the positive. Great view of the river and the waterfall. It took about 30 minutes each way, with a motor boat assist. The staff, especially the driver, did a good job navigating through all the traffic. Not so positive: This tour company should start hotel pick up by 6:30 AM. You might think this is early, but it’s not when you have to pick up at 4 different hotels in the city. A later pick up makes for a very long 3 hours in traffic each way.The boatmen: Yes, they do work hard for tips. Some boatmen are more aggressive than others, ours kept asking for a good tip and telling us unfortunate stories all the way up and back. Finally, I just ignored him and stopped answering his questions. The couple ahead of us gave each boatmen 500 Peso each and they were good with it, however, ours wanted 1000 Pesos each, I said no and walked away. Not all boatmen are that aggressive.Over all a good tour, nice views of the river and waterfall.
