Lofoten Travel Guides (Updated October 2026)

Simone T was our guide, and he provided a lot of information about Norway, the economy, and the culture. We went to several places, and he took us to many beautiful, picturesque sights. Nusfjord was a highlight, and we also went to Reine, Skagsanen Beach, Hamnoy, and Å. I’m glad we chose a private tour for this port instead of one of the big buses. Simone T was an amazing guide.

We had a great kayaking trip! Our guide (Agnes) was patient with us and gave us great instructions and safety information. The kayaking trip was BEAUTIFUL! Agnes should us sites from the water and gave good information. The pace was good. We got exercise but were able to stop and take pictures as well. Overall it was a great experience!!!

We had a great time in the company of Estaban our guide. The moment is timeless, we spent 2.5 hours on the water through the fjords around Reine. I recommend the experience

It all started with a research to determine what to see when travelling to Lofoten. A picture and a short text. A little research and such a kayak tour jumped to our bucket list. We were fortunate to have some of our very good friends joining us - it made it all much better. We had Israel as our guide. He is just great and a very skilled guide. He took us by the hand and heart. He told about safety and how to behave when sitting in a kayak. He also told us about what we saw when paddling towards a rocky island where we should spend the night. When we put up the tent Israel prepared the food and the bonfire. Next he took care about the breakfast. Taking such a tour in a kayak see the sunset and sunrise, have a host like Israel is just a must do if you are close to LofotenThanks to Israel - we might see you somewhere else in the world.Finn and Bitte

Fabulous paddle in a beautiful place. Our guide Rune made sure we were kitted out well. The equipment was excellent and we had an unforgettable afternoon on the water. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Brilliant day kayaking, abseiling and a little campfire on a remote beach. We were super lucky to be just the two of us and our guide, Lucio. He was very knowledgeable about the area, organised and made us feel reassured with good instructions for the abseil, we felt completely safe. Lots of delicious food at the campfire. Nothing was rushed and it was a calm kayak looking for starfish or seals. Best day of our holiday! Thank you very much 🙂

We had booked a full day trip (6 hours) and it got cancelled because of very bad weather but didn’t receive the cancellation notice for some reason. When we got in contact they were incredibly helpful and offered a refund and a free 3 hour trip later that day! We ended up doing a private full day trip the next day! The weather was beautiful and our guide Felipe could not be more friendly and skillful! Views were breathtaking and the campfire lunch was delicious! Plenty of memories made that will be cherished! 10/10! We had a fantastic day exploring Lofoten with Daniel. He was kind, knowledgeable, well-spoken, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. He took us to all the places we wanted to see and also recommended some great places to eat. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better private tour — would definitely recommend!

Diana was great and the trip was beautiful! Make sure to wear waterproof clothing and lots of layers! We were cold but it was perfect other than that!

Then our stop in Leknes was cancelled the night before our tour. We notified them immediately. They acknowledged the change and then told us they'd refund the deposit. We were extremely disappointed to miss out but ❤️ of Lofoten eased the pain.We would book with them again in a heart ❤️ beat!

Andrea's enthusiasm of sharing the history of Norway is delightful. He took us to incredible vistas that couldn't be seen by boat. He even treated us to sandwiches and tea by the beach that he prepared himself. Visitors will have a unique and special experience in Lofoten with Andrea.

Do this! Our tour guide Venla gave fantastic instructions that made the kayaking feel easy. We have kayaked before, but never sea kayaked, so we were nervous. But once we got started the nerves vanished. We had gross weather -cloudy and rainy- but even with that I would still do this again in a heartbeat. The can book quite a few people on each tour (I believe the site says 30) but you are broken into smaller groups. We had 8 people in ours. If you are hesitating booking, just go for it!

The kayak experience was excellent. Most of us were beginners and the guide, Israel, was very helpfull. He was encouraging with the children and helped them to master the rowing in a calm manner. He knew the area like his backyard and gave lots of interesting information about the sea and the fauna. I highly recommend this tour!
