Katherine Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

The show was fantastic!. Our group consisted of 4 generations , from 6 to 86. Everyone absolutely loved the animals, and Tom and his team were very entertaining and informative explaining and demonstrating how his animals are trained. We highly recommend!!!

This was the best experience ever, I had such a great time. The show was run so well with providing cold towels, water and icey poles. So entertaining and inclusive for every age. We even got to feed and pet animals, and hold the newborn puppies which were 5 days old. Such a good family experience, highly recommend. This experience is going to be a life long memory.

It was such a nice experience!! I wasn’t sure what to expect of an outback show but I was surprised in the best possible way. It was so educating but also just fascinating to see how they work with the animals. To see how the animals get trained with such high amount of respect was truly amazing. There was lots of time to pet the animals (even puppies). The whole event was so well organised, we got towels, cold water and a snack. Parking was easy and the property was nicely arranged with snack and beverage options. All in all it was 100% worth it and I would love to do it again.

This was a great show, Great to see how Tom and his Crew train the animals. Was also a bonus having great pizzas and drinks to purchase and to enjoy during the show

This was a good show, but if you also come off a farm you probably don't need to go to the show, but it was entertaining.

What a lovely experience. Entertained by truly devoted people and the animals they work with. Unique and insightful. Would certainly recommend that people of all ages go.

Fantastic experience! Learned so much from Steph, Lisa,Ruth and Ali. Really interesting and educational. It was great to meet the various animals and ask all the questions we had. Everyone was able to feed the animals and get up close to them. Nothing was too much trouble, spending time talking and explaining methods etc. We were given seat pads to sit on, cold towels, water and ice blocks during the experience. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you ladies!

Loved it! A couple of city folk we had no idea what to expect. It was informative, educational and plain old fun. The cold water and iced towels were appreciated. Loved that they support Dolly's Dream to educate kids about the impact of bullying.

You take part in the daily work routine with the animals in the outback. Very well done. Educational and entertaining! Great program - would do it again.

Great down to earth experience; music, horses, dogs, cattle, goats........ Great value for money, very generous with their time, experiences, skills during and after show.

Interesting to understand about how horse handling is done when a young horse starts out. Watching the dogs train to assist in musters also interesting. Suitable activity for disabled walker. Cool water provided during show with an ice block to follow. I hoped we would have some country music as part of the live entry but this did not occur. Easy parking for larger vehicles. Maybe take a cushion to sit on as seats are a bit hard after a while.
