The tour was well worth the money. The guide provided interesting facts in addition to pointing out points of interest along the way. We appreciated the guide providing options for viewing some locations as well as letting us know when there were fees required. It was easy to use and we could start and stop the narration as needed.

Excellent information - just right amount. Economical- great value for the information. Convenient to be able to use with multiple stops and continue on sightseeing. I would use this app on future driving trips!

We have done other car guide tours and loved them. This one was no different. The narrator has a great voice and the content was excellent. We loved the added history of the tour. If you don’t just want to drive but actually learn something and have fun try this guided tour.

This was my second experience with GuideAlong. The first was with the “Road to the Sun” in Glacier National Park. When I saw they had one for the Northern Shore of Lake Superior, I gladly signed up and paid for it. It worked just as well as my first experience with this company. Full of fun facts and great suggestions throughout the journey from Duluth all the way up to Grand Portage at the Ontario border.

A very unique experience touring the Duluth harbor area in a helicopter. Check in process was great and the tour guide in the helicopter was informative about the area. Felt a little queezy after the 15 mile tour but that's just me. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try a new experience!

The view was absolutely beautiful. My daughter and I really enjoyed the ride. The pilot did an awesome job.

The hotel was very nice, clean, moderately priced, and the staff was remarkable. First, I made the reservation for the wrong date, and the desk clerk hardly even snickered, as I prattled on. She was able to accommodate us for the day we were traveling, and was able to transfer all of my online reservation info, so I didn't need to repeat it. The breakfast was okay, except there were PEARS for fresh fruit. I was so impressed! Our only negative experience was the rude neighbors, who loved slamming the door. Ah well. My number one positive was the PILLOWS on the bed. There were three, with each being a different level of softness. I, seriously, thought about stealing the soft squishy one, but did not. I did, however, note the brand, which is available on Amazon. :-)

The black beach is absolutely beautiful. The water is crystal clear. We definitely will return. The grandkids loved it as much if not more than Florida beaches.

Pay for one ticket for your group you will save money. Its self guided off an app. Fun takes about 2.5 hours on the driving map.

Nice narration about the history of and sites along the North Shore Scenic Drive. The narrator has a pleasant voice and is entertaining. Commentary is very helpful. Well worth the cost.

The audio tour of the lower part of the North Shore of Lake Superior was excellent. It matched well with our locations and the stories were both interesting and informative. I would highly recommend it. I just wish there had been a second tour of the upper part up to the Canadian border.
