We had such a great time seeing the islands and enjoying the boat ride, saw lots of seals too! Would totally recommend doing if you’re in the area :)

Was a great experience. Completely shattered my expectations. Was helped by a great tour group, perfect weather and a great tour guide (Simon). We seemed to go at the perfect time as there was hardly anyone at the Hot Springs and, most importantly, Cathedral Cove. Highly reccomend going if you get the opportunity to go(try to get a sunny day) as it really adds to the experience.

The staff is amazing! We had an amazing group and we enjoyed every part of this experience. They provided rain jackets and took photos. Our kids loved it and as a family this was one of our highlights.You cannot take your phone with you but we took a GoPro. The only thing I wished was that it was longer 😂

We booked this tour without any idea of what an astoundingly beautiful adventure awaited us. We were picked up at the Royal Billy Jetty in Pauanui exactly on time. The boat was comfortable and Richie, one of the owners, was very accommodating and helpful. The sea was a bit rough as we headed out but the sun was shining as we pounded through the waves. Very fun! On the 30 minute boat ride to the island we saw quite a few sea birds. The WOW factor kicked in as we approached the islands. The volcanic rock formations were otherworldly, dotted with caves and sea windows. The crystalline water varied from marine blue to aquamarine. We cruised around several of the islands and even spent a half hour anchored to allow for snorkeling. The Alderman Islands can hold their own against other tours we’ve taken in Milford and Doubtful Sounds and Abel Tasman. And best of all we were the only tour boat! Definitely a hidden gem in this over touristed world.

Matt was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and chill. Couldn't have asked for better weather! Seamless communication with pickup details. Great pitstops with delicious food. Lovely group of people to go exploring with. 10/10 would do the exact tour again! Cathedral cove is absolutely stunning!

The Coromandel area is a must see part of the North Island by boat. The company was delightful and the water was beautiful. Bring swimwear (togs) and a towel because you’ll have a bit of time to jump in. Be prepared for varied weather out on the ocean- a rain jacket and hat are helpful. It can get chilly.The Aldermen are some amazing volcanic islands and the coastline is impressive. You may see a seal, a shark, snapper and other marine life like a penguin or whales.A favorite memory is going in between the towering rock formations to see the volcanic rocks up close.

Wonderful day. Crew were awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling in the small cove we stopped in and the wildlife we saw.

I would highly recommend this. I’ve never done zip lining before, and at the age of 50 something, was nervous as well as excited. I was lucky enough to be the only client on my tour, which meant a faster tour. My guides Luke and Kukewei (apologies if misspelled) were lovely, informative, entertaining and professional. They took great care of me, were encouraging and enthusiastic. I loved it! I’m now planning to do more zip lining.

Our instructor Beth was friendly. The pottery wheel and shaping equipments were easy to use. We were given plenty of time to indulge in our creative headspace. The experience matched the descriptions quite well and overall good value for the price.

Had an excellent Coromandel Peninsula excursion with Cheeky Kiwi! Matt took us to so many great spots beyond just Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove—we even got to see freshwater eels and a kiwi nesting habitat. The trek down to Cathedral Cove was a tiring 40 minutes each way, and as a bigger guy, I honestly doubted whether I could manage the full 80-minute round trip. The stunning views made it completely worth it! A huge shoutout to Matt for making it such a wonderful day. We couldn't have asked for a better guide, especially on a rainy day.

We had a great day! This is a really nice day trip - we enjoyed our group and had a fantastic guide, who made everything smooth and enjoyable. The activities were beautiful and fun. We were really glad we went.

Sam was great and made sure we made the best out of the day! Also it was a good trip overall, would recommend the hot water spa even if it was crowded.
