Bergen Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

This was an excellent walking tour and great introduction to Bergen. Martin gave a real insight into the city and it's history. He also gave us some great recommendations for eating and drinking. On his advice, we tried the best and cheapest place for fish soup and a belting coffee shop. Thanks Martin!

Very informative guide. He helped many people on the tour to take nice photos, shared his knowledge of Norway and provided a well organized and comfortable trip. There were plenty of toilet stops, almost one every hour so we didn't have to worry.

Very comfortable boat and although there was qite a bit of rain during the tour it was enjoyed by the entire walk.

It was adorable!!!!! They did such a great job explaining the myths of Trolls, how they became known of in Norway, etc. The special effects were so well thought out. Wished I could bring my grandbabies through this cute museum!

We were guided through the city very competently, and we could tell that our guide did this with pleasure.

Vibekka was outstanding! So knowledgeable & helpful! The trip is well laid out & timed well. The walk to the Bondhus glacier lake was fantastic, but it was tough for a couple of us to make the trek in the time allotted (self admittedly we do acknowledge we have medical conditions that slow us down 😕). The traditional Norwegian soup & cinnamon role for lunch was delicious in Rosendal! Elins was a delightful host! We truly had a wonderful time on the tour! Thank You!A couple suggestions: 1) The temporary rental bus was not well marked. Would have never known it was the bus we were looking for without asking. 2) Tour description never mentioned we would be on the same bus all day & we would be taking a car ferry with our bus across the fjords.

Great way to get your bearings of Bergen, Sammi knew the area well and had heaps of stories to tell and some great tips. Had a few issues with the meet up and nearly joined the Spanish group. There was a bit of standing around at the beginning which slowed the process for someoneone wanting to get moving. Some of the street are very steep, care needs to be taken.

This was a very well organized day with lots of great information given by out guide Knut! He was extremely knowledgeable, has a passion to share his country with others, and very entertaining!

Wonderful tour of the beautiful Hardangerfjord. There's so much to see that it's hard to do that in a 7.5 hour trip, but it felt like we saw a lot and the convenience of the bus to get around was exactly what I wanted. Pickup was very easy in the center of Bergen.
