Beja District 2026 Calendar of Events

Raymond was the most wonderful host for our private wine and food tasting. We could not have asked for anything more in such a beautiful setting. The wines that Raymond selected and the food his associate Nelson prepared were second to none. The best experience during our 8 days of travel through Portugal!

Fantastic, we loved the space as much as Nelson and Raymond that we decided to make our wedding on the estate! Super varied and wonderful wines!

Exceptional tasting in a very unique and beautiful space! Our guide (I think Sophia) was EXCELLENT. Super informative and fun to listen to, she really made our tour enjoyable. We did 3 wines with charcuterie all of which were very yummy. Also the owner kindly fit us in to a non-posted time which worked better for us. Highly recommend!

As lovers of wines, especially national products, we were impressed by the wine process that the family has kept for several generations. The Guide showed extensive knowledge of the entire process.

We love the experience! We were alone in a couple, it was a unique and special moment, in the freshness of the cellar where they produce the wine of talha on a day of immense heat. I advise all couples of any age who like the Alentejo and that they appreciate a meal full of textures and flavors, all well watered with the wine from the talha, and not only, that is produced in that house. By the way, it would be a good bet to make lunches or dinners with only one wine (we tried 7) and one or two dishes to be accessible, for example: a date or wedding request, a birthday celebration for two, etc. As we told the extraordinary guides (extremely professional and attentive to detail), we will return, maybe, to the Love and Wine, with the stay at your partner, or for another any time, because your work exceeded all the expectations!

Owners very good people, the wine is so something of another world and the food of the best that is found by the Alentejo.

Sympathy and good disposition of guides, good wine and amazing space, full of stories.

The experience was fantastic. Our guide was informative and it very interesting to see how determined the family is to maintain this as a family business with a very personal touch.

Friendly and welcoming hostess, with a lot of availability. Lovely space, full of history. There is a restaurant next door that belongs to the same owner, Mr Antonio, which we also went to visit (we didn't eat lunch because we didn't notice it and we didn't have a reservation - an unforgivable fault). Taste of top talha wine, with good quality local products!!! They have other activities that must be very interesting.

On a recent trip to Portugal to celebrate a BIG birthday with my husband who has some mobility issues, we were extra lucky to have found David Monteiro, a tour guide from Lisbon. He picked us up following our Douro River cruise in Porto and drove us to Lisbon stopping at many sea side stops. He never rushed us and took as much time as we required. His English and manners were impeccable and his local knowledge of all Portugal was extensive. David made our trip better than we could have expected. Thank you David for your kindness, your spotless van, and your assistance with us.

It was very good and moving to walk in the places where the little shepherds walked and take this trip back in time. The village is small but beautiful. Products (souvenirs, books, etc.) have less choice than in Fátima but, in general, are more economical.

Guide 5 stars, I highly recommend visiting

It was a very good experience. Punctual, well-managed content, everything was perfect. Thank you

Very interesting. Good wine and beautiful building.

We arrived with another couple and we all enjoyed the tour. It was very interesting to learn about the ancient way of producing their wine. The wine tasting portion was more than we expected. Great experience! Krys

It was not just a memory within our Portugal journey, but truly memorable. The wines, the tapas, the experience was first class!
