This olive oil tasting/ tour was so wonderful! We learned a lot and Pier answered all of our questions. His mother prepared amazing plates of foods to pair with the wine and olive oil. What a wonderful surprise! They are very kind and so good to us! Loved it! Go, enjoy !!

Pier gave us a great insight into olive oil production. We found it very informative and told with a lot of passion. The snack afterwards was also very delicious.

We went to the Biscuits oil tasting and had a great time. The guy, owner of the company took us directly to his large family olive grove. He explained to us in simple words the essential things about processing, cutting branches, harvesting and organic farming. That's very interesting. Once the theory was over, which lasted about 45 minutes, we went back to the farm to taste the oil. The tasting consisted of a hearty dish of local dishes, mozzarella, cold cuts, several bruschetta, stracciatella, bread, oil and a good glass of red wine from the area. We recommend everyone to have this experience, people with such passion for what they do are hardly found nowadays.

This was a fabulous introduction to the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Pier was very generous with his time and explanation of this generational family run farm. Harvesting olives from 600 year old trees that require pruning and caring is a year long process. Managing the environmental aspects of running an organic operation provides significant challenges, and we learned a lot about the olive oil industry. Our educational tour was followed by a wonderful tasting session which was a delicious Italian experience and we really enjoyed meeting Pier and his mother during our visit.

One of the best tours we have been to. We were lucky because there was only two of us ( my husband and I), the owner Prier adjusted to our schedule and gave us the most detailed tour, answered all of our questions. We took way longer with all of the questions but he didn’t mind at all. After the tour he and his mother did an amazing dinner, don’t eat before the tour because it was very good and it would be a shame to leave such an amazing food! Also you get wine by the side! We highly recommend it – don’t miss it under any circumstances! You’ll learn so much about olive trees and olive oil, and you’ll realize why you’ll never want to buy cheap oil again

Fascinating tour of olive trees and about the pruning and care of the trees. Interesting to learn how he has used a drone to inspect the trees for potential insect or other concerns. The lunch was delicious! 👌

We had a lovely tour of the olive grove, with information about the olive trees and the harvesting process. Afterwards, we were able to enjoy a delicious tasting, with local food and ofcourse the olive oil. Highly recommended.

Pierre and I took a wonderful tour of his olive groves, which I can strongly recommend to everyone. You could always feel how much experience he had as an olive oil farmer and how passionate he was about growing organic olives. It would seem that a simple product with a lot of work, experience, gratitude and love is extremely interesting. Finally, he indulged us in his tasting room with local and delicious aperitifs, of course, along with his olive oil. Pierce is also an incredibly interesting man, and we talked to him for hours. This tour was one of the highlights of our vacation. Thank you very much Pierre!

Visited with Pier at Olio Biscotti in early July with my family. We first took a drive to the grove where Pier described all the steps and challenges involved in producing olives, their approach to maintaining the trees using organic farming approaches, and his exploratory studies to integrate technology (drones, AI etc.) into making organic farming techniques scalable and economically feasible. So much food for thought. And great entrepreneurial thinking. I surely never looked the same way at the olive trees we saw on the rest of the trip. We then were treated to delicious food and good wine at the tasting room, and continued the stimulating discussions. Also met his mother who was so kind. Amazing experience all around. Thank you!

It was a really good experience. Pierluigi passionately leads us through the life of an olive tree, with knowledge and enthusiasm at every step, from pruning and conserving ancient olive trees to traditional harvesting. At the end of the tour, we went to his farm near Vieste and tasted the excellent virgin olive oil he had made at home, with authentic local specialities. The hospitality, original traditions and stunning natural scenery are unforgettable. It is highly recommended.

Pierluigi welcomed us with great availability and accompanied us on a fascinating journey through the centuries-old olive trees of the Gargano. We discovered traditional pruning techniques, plant care and harvesting phases, living closely the deep bond between man and the earth. The visit ended in his farm, where we tasted an extraordinary extra virgin olive oil, accompanied by exquisite local products. An authentic experience, full of flavors, stories and landscapes to remember. Absolutely not to be missed!

Great experience! Pier a very prepared guy, even the themes that could be more elaborate, explains them in a simple, nice and engaging way. In the area, it is the only one that organizes a similar tour, culminating in a plate full of local delicacies, good wine and excellent homemade limoncello.
