The ladies do an amazing job. Des was very informative and entertaining! I could have pulled up a bar stool and had some fun with the cocktail blends Des talked about!

We were very fortunate to have a personal tour (only ones there) with Desley, Pam and Sam (good to see some Kiwi’s working in Aussie (Sam)). The ladies had a lot of knowledge to share with the history and how the sugar cane is processed. Plenty of parking (we were in a 6 berth Campervan and found this ok). Serena has a lot of history and this is a must stop. After the tour, we headed for a tasting (very informative and a nice wee finish, we certainly left with some goodies to take home to NZ). While we did the tasting our daughter made candy floss to enjoy! Was very impressed with the engagement for our daughter.

Michelle was anexcellent guide, full of information and highly approachable. The pub/pie lunch was excellent. Platypus viewing was a major highlight.

Michelle was a great tour guide - very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a great day out - beautiful scenery, was wonderful seeing platypus, a pitta, a Ulysses butterfly, fruit bats, a blue helmeted honeyeater, a brush turkey and turtles. Lunch was wonderful also - great pies. Would highly recommend this tour.

This was a friendly well run experience. Nathan our driver/guide was safe and knowledgeable and the bus comfortable. The swim was a good way to cool off and the two pools nice to swim in. Lunch was in a characterful old tavern - (you can have pretty much anything you like as long as it's a pie). The highlight was seeing a platypus, which requires patience but Nathan was a good spotter and we saw at least one, possibly two, as well as plenty of turtles. The final stop was at a spectacular lookout. A great day, delivered with enthusiasm and professionally.

Michele our tour guide was fantastic. Loved her stories about all the little towns we drove through and her knowledge of the area and with the wildlife including the platypus.

Very interesting from both distillery and agriculture points of view. Lots of nice samples to try. Our guide Carla is clearly passionate about her job! We also added the nibbles board which was very tasty. Thanks for lending a parasol/ umbrella.

Very helpful staff. Our guide Kcee made it informative without being boring. We also got to taste some delicious jams and chutneys as well as a range of drinks. Well worth the time and money and better than we expected.

As a local, hadn't taken the time to come down to Sarina for this tour. Very mistaken, the tour was really informative, the guides were very knowledgeable and the tasting really made it more than worthwhile. Just a really worthwhile tour.

The tours at Sarina Sugar shed are really amazing. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was not rushed. The Rum Distillery tour that Betty ran consisted of 4 people and was so full of amazing information. All the processes on how they make the rum was so mind blowing. Also we were able to sample the liqueurs as well, not just rum. The people involved and the commitment from the owners to look outside the box to try different flavours is just the tip of the iceberg. And every bit of the process does not go to waste. Congratulations to you all. What an amazing job. We were also blessed to do the Sugar Shed tour which was run by Jess which consisted of 6 people and again is awesome. You learn about every way the sugar is made. You learn about the history, and the progress to how it affects daily life then and now. It’s amazing how far we have all come in just a century and what we now can accomplish in a short time. Thank you so much to both Betty and Jess for an absolutely amazing time. I would recommend this to anyone. It’s worth the money.
