Serge was our tour guide and he was just full of information. He went above and beyond to give us really interesting facts!!

Sergey was awesome!!! He knows his history of the island and gave us a wonderful tour. We learned so much from him. The dole plantation is beautiful and the dole whip delicious!!! The Rum tasting was fun too! Bought some to go of course! We even got to see a full rainbow on the way back to the hotel!!!

The highlight of the tour was our guide/driver, Sergei!!! He is a history teacher, has lived on the island almost all his life, and he is so knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii. It was such a pleasure to spend time listening about the history and culture of the beautiful islands of Hawaii. I had never been to the Dole Plantation, so that was a fun little stop to get some Dole Whip. I would have enjoyed having a little more time at this stop to ride the Pineapple Express Train. The next stop was the rum distillery. Everyone seemed to enjoy the tasting, and they have a really cute gift shop to purchase rum, chocolate, shirts, glasses, etc. The last stop was the zipline. This was a fun little activity, and we lucked out with some great weather around 5:30pm. Overall, this tour has something for everyone. Oh, and the communication when I initially booked the tour up until the day before was excellent. Thank you to Ashley for making me feel comfortable about the pick up spot and time. (Sergei was right on time as well for the pickup) I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends, but I would make sure they ask for Sergei!

When we were picked up by our Driver/guide Joe and his partner Darlene we were notified that we were the only ones on the tour that day. We were treated to an entire day of personalized service from them both. Our 1st stop was the Dole plantation and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. We learned a lot about pineapples that we never realized. While there we got a chance to shop a bit and enjoy some Dole whip (yum). Our next stop was KoHana distillers where we learned of there rum making process and met a big turtle (Tom?) We then had our own private rum tasting that was very informative and tasty. We had the option to purchase some of their fine products. (the honey is amazing) For our 3rd and final stop it was Zip lining. Again we had our own personal guides Kyle and Kylie. Kyle and Kylie were amazing. We had so much fun with them and they took everything at our pace. The zip line were great but Kyle and Kylie really made the whole thing special for us. With many thanks to Joe/Darlene and Kyle/Kylie, it really made for a truly memorable day. Highly recommended.

Great tour of the Dole plantation and the rum plant. I really enjoyed hearing the history of both places. Joe was a great tour guide.

Our tour was great and we enjoyed Joe very much. We only wish we spent more time at Dole. We may try and go back on our own since we know more about HI now.

This was the BEST combo for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the drivers commentary of the island while driving to the famous Dole Plantation and then to KoHana Rum Distilleries (Never been before and thought it was so yummy!) the kids had gelato and we enjoyed Local Rum tastings. We ended the afternoon at Coral Crater for the 3 ziplines. We cannot recommend this tour enough! Thank you Malama Tours

I expected moreif a"tour"at Dole but it's more of an attraction. It was pleasant enough andwe got beautiful pictures. The Dole whip was worth it. The rum tasting was just ok. I've visited orther distilleries, this wasn't a favorite. Our driver/guide was awesome. Sergi was funny, well informed and very accommodating.

We DID enjoy what we did, but we had less than 30 min at Dole and were not able to do the maze or ride the train. The distillery was cool and the rum was great. We were not given the option of doing the zip-line or anything at Coral Craters, but others in our van were. We had to wait for them for an hour while they played. Our tour guide, Joe was super cool and took us to a few beaches while we waited and we saw loads of sea turtles!! Joe did not know we were not given this option, he was just the driver. We were also told that we would be back by 5:30, but got back at 6:45. We would definitely do it again, but wish we had more time at Dole.

Our tour driver/guide was great! Loved all the little fun facts about the island we learned, especially everything he told us about the Dole Plantation and KōHana Distillery!! Coming to Hawaii for the dole whip is totally worth it. In all seriousness, we absolutely loved our tour. If you’re going to be in Hawaii, you definitely need to check it out!

Our guide was very informative and super friendly! He was fantastic. A local who knew a lot, and we even asked him things that didnt pertain to the tour and he was able to help clarify.

The rum tasting was fun, even though I didn’t try any. Very interesting! The Dole pineapple plantation was really cool. The only bad part was the time there was WAY too short! At least another 1/2 hour should have been added to give enough time to see everything outside and go through the gift store which was very large. 15 minutes for the gift shop was just not enough!!

Not much time at Dole so use time to shop and get your whip. Rum tasting was really nice and informative.

Dole Plantation and Rum Distillery tour.We had a great time and really enjoyed both places, the plantation and the Distillery. Our tour guide Joe made the tour fun and educational.We enjoyed the travel to the sites and seeing that part of the island.
