Hungary Travel Guides (Updated October 2026)

Excellent tour, a lovely way to see the sights of the city by night. The included drink and running commentary was also appreciated.

It was the perfect cruise, just long enough with clear narration. It truly is unlimited prosecco and the staff is fun and friendly.

Great experience. Gábor was an excellent guide. Super knowledgeable about the city, the buildings, architecture, and the history. Super efficient at getting around the city and an absolute master at knowing where to find perfect parking spots for the best pictures and access to the major sites. A really great way to see Budapest. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend attending the workshop; my family and I had a great time, and the instructor was really nice. At the end, we got to take home what we made, and it turned out really delicious.

Orsi was a delight to tour with. She is a local with an abundance of knowledge about Budapest, Hungary and the history that has helped shape both. We saw and learned a lot - most would be difficult to discover on our own. Well worth the time and money spent.

We had been in Budapest a few days and as yet had not booked a trip. After seeing the queues for the other larger boats we decided we would go with the paddle steamer as it was alot smaller. It was great. We went for the 8.30 pm trip to see the river all lit up and was worth every penny or HUF. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Will do it again if we go back. Even in Sept it was cold so make sure you wrap up.

Our guide was a uni student who shared her Hungarian heritage to kick off the tour. She was knowledgeable, well prepared with information to share with the group. She encouraged group participation and invited questions. Her polite and pleasant manner meant she was very approachable. Great tour seeing the key highlights with the history, context and several funny stories for good measure!

Everything was amazing, A must do when in Budapest. Yummy food, attentive staff, enjoyable entertainment along with wonderful views. Highly recommended.

The food, alcohol and music were great. Nice ambiance..not crowded. Great scenic night views. Highky recommend.

I had a wonderful experience on the Budapest Jewish Heritage Tour with Benjeman. He was knowledgeable, patient, and very professional. As we walked through the Jewish Quarter and visited the synagogues and memorials, the history felt deeply personal, not just facts, but stories of real families and communities. Benjeman shared everything with care and respect, it was both educational and moving. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Benjeman.

Brilliant evening boat cruise on the Danube, it is unlimited drinks, fantastic views particularly when it got dark and the buildings are illuminated. There was a recorded guide inside the boat (which has huge windows and great views from all the tables) which we weren't expecting which gave succinct details of each of the sights. We stuck to the Prosecco as I tried the Limoncello Spritz but it was more like Bitter Lemon drink. We didn't try the beer or Aperol. You can have as many drinks as you like. Crew were efficient and organised and we found the meeting point easily. Well worth the money.

Excellent guide. Very informative delivered with a little humour

Awesome. I might do it again! Easy departure. Cute steam boat compared to other ships. Smaller size which was also nice.

Excellent tour guide! (Angie) we enjoyed the tour very much. She tried to take us to things we had not seen previously.

Maros was an excellent guide. He mixed in historical facts and some personal history along with good humour. He spoke clearly and looked after the group. I would recommend this tour.

It was a nice ride with beautiful scenery and informational narration. It was also very fairly priced.
