Amazing Hiroshima Piece walking tour. I learned so much about what happened to Hiroshima during and after the atomic bomb explosion. You get to visit the Hiroshima Peace memorial museum, a must go to to fully understand the consequences of what happened during World War II (photos of victims, testimonies, videos). To guide you throughout the visit, the tour guide was fantastic. She really took the time to explain some bits of history while visiting some key spots, always smiling, helpful, waiting for guests whenever they wanted to take pictures.

We had a great time with our guide Awais. He was a great communicator and patient with our riding. Explained every site in detail. The weather wasn’t great but that didn’t stop us having a great time. A great experience to do with my daughter.

Food tour was a great experience with our guide Yoko! She was very welcoming and loved getting to see her favorite places around the city. Food was amazing and got to see some local places that we otherwise wouldn’t have gone into! Would definitely recommend!

We spent the day with Pancho and it was fabulous! He picked us up at the train station and immediately felt like a friend. We really appreciated him sharing his family's history with us. It is unique to have such a personal connection to the history and you can tell it is really part of who he is. He was great at answering questions and making conversation. He has a good command of English and is easy to understand. Pancho was very helpful to get us to Miyajima and give us suggestions for things to see. It was a lovely day and you won't regret booking with Pancho!

We had a wonderful time exploring these two areas. As a native of Hiroshima Pancho was able to share his personal family experience with us which we appreciated. The Peace Museum and park were moving and highly informative; those are must-see sites. We enjoyed our day with Pancho and recommend him as your guide!

Good 2-part tour. Hiroshima Peace Park was a great place, though it was a little crowded, lots of school children. The Peace Museum has a large permanent exhibition of photos, artefacts and records, maybe take care deciding whether to bring kids here. But for us the real highlight was Miyajima, we would have loved to have spent more time there.Our guide was great, lots of information and interesting stories to share.

Arrived in Hiroshima early morning from Osaka via the Shinkansen bullet train which was approximately a 90 minute trip. My guide Pancho met me at the Hiroshima train station and it was great to have the flexibility to mix things up as I needed a coffee and another breakfast and then rather than heading out on foot we jumped in a taxi to ground zero. It was a rich and informative day of mixed emotions that was proffesionly presented by Pancho. I appreciated his sharing of knowledge and his excellent command of english. This was my wifes idea of utilising the tourbylocals and having a one one tour to ensure that it met all my needs. It was definitely the best decision and I had the best guide for the best experience.

It was a touching but a once in a lifetime experience to visit Hiroshima peace memorial. The tour guide Hika was excellent and very good in explaining the minute details of the event that happened in 1945. We enjoyed the tour with him. Thank you Cool Destinations for arranging the tour.

Awais was extremely knowledgeable and was able to clearly answer any questions our group had. He was a great communicator and held the perfect pace for the tour. He checked in with how each person in the group was feeling throughout the tour. Cycling was a very engaging way to experience Hiroshima.
