Tortola Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Fabulous tour. Sef and Marsha made the tour so great. The stops offer a variety of food and beverage that were all wonderful and tasted great. The best experience we've had on an excursion.

Had a great experience in Tortola! Captain Nelson was a great tour guide, too! He took us to the Virgin Gorda baths, snorkeling w/the turtles in the cove, then to Norman Island for some beach time! We had a large group of 18, so they were able to coordinate 2 different boats for us so we could all enjoy this excursion together! Would definitely recommend!

This was a great experience. fun and educational, we learned to make perfume and take it home {our own scent} Easy port pickup if you are on a cruise...They do other things as well candle making and painting. Added Note-the class started at 11:30 but our boat didn't dock til 12:30 and they were happy to accommodate us at 1:30

What a great experience for a family of 4. James (aka Chris because I kept getting his name wrong) and Dewey were amazing as they sailed the catamaran! Family friendly atmosphere, great rum punch, amazing weather, great lunch! Couldn’t ask for a better experience! Met the transfer team at the cruise port in Road Town and a 20 min ride over to the catamaran!

What a great time. Beautiful catamaran with excellent weather so we got to sail over to White Beach where we enjoyed some cocktails. Great lunch back on board and more cocktails and sailing. And then best part, we met some lifelong friends and made memories! Totally recommend this excursion with Chris and Dewey!!

Great personal experience. Easy pick up right next to cruise port. Got to travel around the island in private car and sample 5 different island specialties.

Our guide Kaalim picked us up on time and took us on a beautiful scenic route to get to Mount Alma. Kaalim had many interesting stories about the BVI, Tortola, and the surrounding islands too. We hiked up and down, with Kaalim pointing out many details about the nature we were walking through and the stories behind it. At the end of the hike we were presented with cold scented towels and delicious fruit bowls - so appreciated in that July heat and humidity. Next we went to the beautiful and sparsely populated beach on Beef Island. We were back well in time for the cruise ship's departure. Outstanding tour.

Captain Ricky was great. We had our own boat and he was very nice about us setting our schedule since time was limited. Had a great day with all our friends at baths and cooper islands

Great option to get a private tour and acomodate to what you really want to do. They ask the right questions at the begging to make sure you get what you expect.

Our captain Sal met us within a few minutes of the designated time at the roundabout near the dock where our Disney cruise ship had docked. We met Rashida his assistant at the boat. Their boat was so comfortable, with drinks provided for our 1/2 day excursion to Jost Van Dyke. We anchored within a few feet of the shore, and used for free beach chairs for our morning as we did buy drinks from the associated bar. The day was perfect! My grandchildren loved playing on the pristine beach, and then taking turns jumping off our boat to swim in the crystal clear water. We were there before the crowds descended on Soggy Dollar, and frankly our part of the beach was more beautiful as the volcanic rocks were gathered more in the Soggy Dollar part of the beach.

I can not recommend this experience enough. Sean met us right on time and then listened to what our interests were for the day. We were not interested in snorkeling so he showed us beautiful beaches where we swam and then to Foxy's for lunch before going to Soggy Dollar for drinks and more swimming. The seven hours flew by. It was an excellent way to experience beautiful BVI.

We chartered the boat for 2 days. We wanted to snorkel, see the baths, and see some of the bars on Jost Van Dyke. Kylie was extremely knowledgeable, took our itinerary, and made suggestions to improve and structure based on her expertise. She took us to amazing, uncrowded snorkeling spots, some great restaurants and bars, and picked the perfect timing to miss most of the crowds. They also worked with us to change the days based on the weather. We really enjoyed having a female Captain!

The owner was amazing!!! She was very knowledgeable about scent making and extremely helpful with the process. She also took the time to recommend a charming restaurant for lunch and shared the experience with us while ensuring we were back at our cruise pier in ample time. This is a must do experience!!! 10 out of 10!

We had an amazing private air boat tour around Tortola, BVI with Captain Simon Wood on his boat Easy Rider. Simon was very knowledgeable about the area. We spent an hour of the tour at Jost Van Dyke on the beach. It is one of the best 4 hour excursions we have taken (booked through NCL cruise line). Simon can be reached at snorkelbvi@gmail.com

We had THE BEST time with our awesome Captain Noah!! The waters were rough that day because of a storm, so we had to change course...but Noah gave us some great alternatives. We snorkeled in the caves which was a really cool experience for all levels followed by lunch at Pirates Bite. The sea life was amazing! I saw a nurse shark, tons of turtles, and an eagle ray. The highlight of the day was definitely the Willy T!At the end of our trip we were hungry, so Noah gave us some great recommendations on restaurants, including one owned by his parents, which was really good.Definitely book this tour - it added an element of fun to our incredible BVI vacation!
