We just returned from a four-day weekend in Tobago, for my hubby 50th and I can’t say enough about the phenomenal job our tour guide and his wife did! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcomed and excited to explore.🇹🇹💖 Their extensive knowledge of Tobago’s history, culture, and natural beauty was evident in every tour. They shared fascinating stories and insights that truly enriched our experience. It felt like we were exploring the island with friends who genuinely cared about showing us the best it had to offer.What stood out the most was their personal touch. 💃🏻🕺🏽 They took the time to understand our interests and tailored my itinerary to ensure we got the most out of our trip. Fantastic Service and Experience
We went with David and Anna on an island tour as well as the Castara bon fire experience. It was absolutely enjoyable!My sister and I visting from Canada are both in our 80's and David made this such an enjoyable experience with such care and consideration. His knowledge and professionalism was impressive. I highly recommend using island girl.

The Real Tobago
My wife and I actually did several of the Island Girl tours during our 3 month stay in Tobago and they were all absolutely fantastic. Island Girl Tours is definitely a "go to" resource for Trinidad & Tobago. David & Anna love Tobago deeply and it shows. They showed us, not just the tourist sites, like Fort King George and Argyle Falls (which were wonderful), but they introduced us to local people so we could get to know Tobago through the eyes of the people who live there - Allister, the coconut man, Miss Shurland, who runs the hummingbird sanctuary (incredible experience). They took us off the beaten track to hidden palm fringed beaches, with golden sand we had all to ourselves. We ate incredible, delicious street food and they recommended great local restaurants. Their main focus is Tobago, but they also arranged a 3 day tour of Trinidad for us.One of the great thing about Island Girl tours is that they customized destinations and activities to suit us. I'm active and adventurous. My wife has mobility issues. David & Anna made it work for both of us.Highlights: Shurland James Hummingbird Nature Park, walking on unspoiled undeveloped beaches, the trails of the Main Ridge Forest Preserve, Feathered Friends parrot & macaw rehabilitation center (Trinidad). And most of all the warm, friendly people of Tobago.

What an amazing experience
I’m very glad I didn’t choose any other tour company. Anna and David were the best and made my family and I memories that more special. We toured both Trinidad and Tobago with Island Girl. The waterfalls were such an amazing sight of nature in its finest habitat. The hike was well worth it and the waters were soothing and calming. The food during our tour was just a plus. The pick up and drop off allows you to just enjoy your experience to the fullest without having to worry about driving. The pictures and videos that were taken by Anna and David just encapsulated our memories for life. Thanks for an amazing experience for my family and I. This won’t be the last time we’ll use this tour company. We still have much more to visit, see, and enjoy on the beautiful islands.

Our adventure in Tobago!
Dave and his crew are excellent at teaching the history of the island and go indepth at pointing land marks and , ,places of intrest indegionious to that region, also plants and animals and the many beautiful waterfalls and beaches .... amazing tour , we will definitely rebook un the future, thanks Dave !🥰

Phenomenal tour
The tour was exceptional! The remote beaches, waterfall and humming bird experience was a magnificent experience. David and his entire crew were absolutely attentive and his knowledge of Tobago was astounding. Lots of fun and laughs throughout the day. Highly recommend Island Girl Tour. We will be repeat customers for sure and look forward to seeing more of our beautiful island!

We came for Tobago, and left with new Family
What I really loved about Island Girl Tours is how connected they are to Tobago and its people. You don't feel like you're just being taken from one tourist spot to another. Along the way you meet local guides, stop at small family-run businesses, hear stories and see places you probably would never find on your own. And they seem to know more hidden waterfalls than anyone could possibly show you, if that's your thing! It all feels very natural and personal, and I especially liked knowing that the tour supports local people and small businesses along the way. I mean it when I say, if you really want to experience Tobago beyond the usual tourist spots, this is the way to do it. It honestly feels less like a tour and more like being shown around Tobago by local friends. And Anna and David somehow end up feeling like family you've known for lifetimes.

Hidden Beach Gems - 3 Generation Tour
This was our second island tour with David and Anna, just as the first tour, this was an unforgettable and memory-making experience. We booked a hidden beach tour to carry my parents and daughters to create forever memories, and David and Anna did just that. They catered for the mobility challenges of+70 year-old mom and she had an easy time getting in and out of the boat without any stress. David provided a rich history lesson along the drive, sharing his in-depth knowledge of Tobago much to the delight of the girls. The old calypso and soca set the mood just right for the entire trip. Anna's breadfruit recipe was , the grilled fish and shrimp all cooked on the beach were simply tasty. This trip was EVERYTHING we wanted it to be.What separates Island Girl Tours from the rest starts with your first call to them. The depth of preparation that goes into each trip. David and Anna focus on their client's expected outcomes... the experience that they are looking for; and boy do they deliver. Their special focus on total family enjoyment is what makes them special. Everyone in my family; all three generations; had the time of thier lives. It's the little things - Anna teaching the girls how to vlog, and fly the drone, David carrying them to snorkel, and then there was Son Son, providing all the entertainment my parents would need with his stories. Last but not least, then Anna came back to the villa in the evening to do some Henna art for the girls to cap it all off.Thank you Island Girls... Touring with Family Friends
Organising for our group from all the way in Malaysia had its hiccups, but their flexibility and clear communication really eased things.Our tour was bespoke, factoring in our abilities as well as some weather impact.It felt like we were out with family friends who wanted to show us around their home...and tbh, now, that's what they are! I highly recommend adding one of their tours to your itinerary.

Five stars is not enough - A Truly Unforgettable Experience with Island Girl Tours
David and Anna of Island Girl Tours gave our extended family of fifteen (ages ranging from 11 to 90 years old) a day we will always remember.From planning to execution, everything was handled with care and immense attention to detail. Their communication was clear and timely. David and Anna took care of everything. They coordinated drinks and meals, including accommodations for dietary needs (we had a vegan in our group), and the whole experience felt tailored to our group. The experience was truly all-inclusive.Throughout the tour, David and Anna captured photos and videos - candid moments, group shots, scenery, celebrations. They later organized and shared all the media with us, allowing us to relive the experience in full quality.What sets Island Girl Tours apart is not just the logistics - it’s the genuine joy and kindness they bring to their work. They made leading and entertaining a group spanning 80 years look effortless. They treated us like family, celebrated with us, laughed with us, and showed us their homeland with pride.The 12-hour full island tour of Tobago is a must. The adventure goes from sun up to sun down. Anna and David arrived promptly at 6:00 AM with freshly brewed coffee and tea. This set the tone for the day. From that point forward the group knew that we would be well cared for.Our morning began in the mangroves near Tobago Plantations, a peaceful and beautiful introduction to the island. Breakfast was a stop for doubles or aloo pie with all of the fixings, followed by a full day of exploration — waterfalls, beaches, scenic drives, coconut water “from the nut” (with a splash of rum if that was your preference).The bus ride was festive and a highlight in itself:• Soca music (many of us sang along)

• Snacks, soft drinks, beer
• And yes… the occasional shot of salt prune tequila!Lunch at Ms. Shurland’s Nature Park was outstanding — salad, macaroni pie, callaloo, rice and peas, provisions, and cocoa tea (“chocolate tea” in Tobago). And in one of the most touching moments of the trip, David and Anna surprised my Uncle Edwin with a birthday cake lit with candles as we all sang Happy Birthday to celebrate his 90th birthday. It was thoughtful, classy, and deeply appreciated.After a full day of activities, we returned to our villa just after sunset, tired in the best way and full of gratitude.

One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had
I booked two tours with Island Girl Tours : South Coast tour of Trinidad and a tour in Tobago. I’m originally from Trinidad but it was my partner’s first time visiting T&T and I wanted her to experience the islands in a way that even I myself hadn’t. David and Anna did not disappoint. The tours they planned for us allowed us to experience T&T in such a fabulous way. Even for me, I saw parts of both Trinidad and Tobago that I hadn’t seen before. The care put into the tour was impeccable. From the pick-up to drop-off, they made sure we learned about history but also enjoyed the beauty of each island. There was a true level of care exhibited not only for us as guests on the tour but for our country. I raved about this tour to my family so much that even my family that still lives in Trinidad is considering booking with them. I honestly can say that my next trip back home will likely include another set of tours with David, Anna and their team.
