Top-rated Slovenia Attractions, Landmarks & More

Lan is really fun and nice guide to have ! Thank you for this really interesting and lovely tour !

This was a perfect day trip - good communication with the tour provider, everything on time, started after lunch so I could catch up on my sleep, small group, good driver/guide, scenic countryside, and only a one hour drive to two amazing sights. The first was a visit to Predjama Castle, a centuries old castle built into a large cave system. There are very few like it in the world and this is rated the best of the cave castles. The second attraction was the Postojna Cave, a gigantic natural wonder. The tour inside the cave system was about 90 minutes, about equally divided between train rides and walking. The cave system has vast areas of breathtaking beauty and size, and has been visited since the 19th century by dignitaries such as Emperor Franz Josef. Apart from the natural wonders, the technology used by the government for exhibiting as well as preserving is astonishing. I’m very glad I went on this tour!

What a great time we had! Our guide Deni was friendly and made everyone very comfortable very quickly. The water was pretty fresh(!) but didn’t stop us from having a swim. We had to pay additional tax which was not included in the Cool Destinations price, which was a fair chunk 84 Euros for a family of four, which was not a pleasant surprise, but the rest of the experience was brilliant.

Lucia (or Lucy as she preferred) was full of interesting and fun facts about Ljubljana. She pointed out lots of things we wouldn't have seen on our own, She was happy to answer questions from the group.

A great experience with Neza as our tour guide. It was all girls in an 8 sitter Van. We visited the Predjama Castle and Postojna Cave. These places are amazing and really recommend it. We ended our trip in Piran. One thing we didn't know that the weather could be so different in Piran. It is cold in Ljubljana but it was so summer weather in Piran. One regret we did not bring our swimming clothes. This was our last activity before leaving Slovenia. We are looking forward of more visits in near future

Excellent tour. Vanessa, our tour guide / driver was terrific. She was very friendly and informative and was an exceptional driver. We really enjoyed the caves and Peran. Just a great day. Thank You

Our tour guide “Nate” was excellent. He was a safe driver and provided good information about the tour as well as some historical perspective of Slovenia. The castle was interesting and the cave was huge and awe inspiring. At the end of the day Nate provided some local snack which was a nice treat. Overall a very good tour.

What an excellent experience. Our driver was absolutely fantastic! (I have to enter 100 more characters)

Perfect day. Milovan was lovely and very accommodating, offering the group flexible times based on how long we wanted at each location. You can tell he genuinely cares about everyone’s experience and has great recommendations at each spot.Locations were perfect but the hikes are definitely more suitable for more active travellers (flatter alternatives are provided).Overall, very enjoyable day. Would do it again!

Lucy was an awesome guide. She was very personable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the topics covered. She took care to address the wellbeing of all and answered all questions comprehensively. Ljubljana is a lovely city and Lucy an outstanding representative of this wonderful country. Many thanks to her!

Our driver Marco was amazing. The lead guide Milos came around and talked to everyone. We had only planned on bussing to Lake Bled, so glad we did the tour as we saw so much more than we would have.

Perfect day at the Skocjan Caves and Piran! Th caves are spectacular - not to be missed! And Piran is 100% worth visiting. David did a great job getting us everywhere safely and quickly— highly highly recommend this day trip!!

Postojna cave was fascinating and worth the trip. Our guide, David, was very high energy and was a fountain of information about Ljubljana and all the sights on this package. I would recommend.

This was the perfect whitewater rafting experience. Picturesque backdrop of the Julien Alps, crystal clear and refreshing water and a great guide to navigate our raft into the rapids. Thanks Flo!
