Quito 2026 Calendar of Events

What a great trip! So much fun to hike to base camp. Our guide was great, we enjoyed the history lessons and instruction he gave us to make the hike. We really enjoyed Ivan our driver who let us practice our Spanish!

We had an amazing time with our tour guide Pamela today, Pamela was professional with a good attitude and making jokes to keep everyone entertained. We got lucky with weather at the time of year, we managed to get some nice photos and make memories. The driver of the tour bus Jonathan was excellent and picked us up, took us to our tour destination and then safely dropped us back off at our hotel.Would recommend to anyone looking to discover about Cotapaxi and it's surrounding national park.Although the tour does not include food / drinks, we was able to take breaks to acquire snacks before the trip and before return back to our hotel we was taken to a nice place to have some home cooked food.

Daniel was a great tour guide, seamlessly explaining the areas we visited in both Spanish and English. He was so informative and friendly!

Doing the Quilotoa Tourwith Jorge was amazing. He was very attentive and pleasant giving all the time curious and appropriate facts for the excursion. I highly recommend the excursion, Quilotoa is beautiful and more so if it is von Jorge!

This excursion was a good chance to see Quilatoa and get an opportunity to experience indigenous art and culture. Our guide Irene and driver Marcello picked us up from our hotel promptly. It's a long drive, but we stopped on the way for breakfast. Next, we visited an indigenous farm and learned about their lifestyle. We also got to meet and take pictures with their alpacas. Next, we made a brief stop at a canyon for photos. Then, we arrived at the crater. We were there early enough to see it in its full neon shade. We had several hours to hike, explore, and shop before lunch and heading back. Our last stop was at the shop of an indigenous artist in Tigua who is known for creating masks. Finally, our day wrapped up with a long drive back to Quito. We had a fun time. You'll need cash for all expenses (lunch, souvenirs, etc) after the first mini Mart, but there's an ATM there.

Diana was a great guide. She was punctual, professional, knowlegable and lots of fun! Feeding the hummingbirds was magical and the hike thru the Mindu Cloud Forest was challenging but rewarding and beautiful. Our last stop was a coffee tasting and we loved it! Overall a great experience and a great day! We highly recommend this tour!

Ximenez was a great guide. She showed me what I wanted to see and did her best to get me back to my hotel in time. She knew a lot about the plants and animals in the forest and even took me to a great coffee place.

Overall very good. Our leader was very engaging and helpful. The mic failed but popped and talked to us directly. However, the bus broke down 2 blks from final drop off

We tasted local fruit in the market, took supplies from the Mkt to the cooking school and learned how to prepare delicious Ecuador dishes. We loved our experience. Brilliant tour we highly recommend it.

The tour was absolutely fantastic! Michael, our guide, was simply amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. He made the tour truly memorable. I can’t recommend this tour and Michael highly enough. If you’re considering booking, definitely go for it!

A very relaxing, informative, and fun tour! The sunny weather was perfect to catch a view of the Cayambe volcano. We had an Andean delicacy tasting, a short bus show, and a very unexpected concert! The short walk to the waterfall was refreshing, and shopping at the traditional Otavalo market left us satisfied (and penniless!). Thank you so much, Diana, for all the interesting facts along the way, and to Silvio for the smooth ride back and forth!

This was an excellent and memorable experience. My husband and I really appreciated learning more about Ecuadorian foods and delicious unique Andean fruits. We will definitely be making some of the recipes we made during the cooking class. Highly recommend.

A lot of fun and lots to see and learn. The bus as very nice. The museum was wonderful.Would go again if I had time just to walk around
