Asim Zain was AMAZING GUIDE!! We had a small group: my brother and I and two girls who booked also. 10/10 would do it again and recommend. Punctual pickup. Optional ATV in sand dune add-on. Camel ride is short but just enough :’ ) and all activities very very fun!

I booked my tour through my hotel who arranged it all for me, and my tour guide (Wadood) was right on time with the pickup. Throughout the drive, Wadood was very knowledgable and gave detailed explanations of the history and culture of Qatar.Wadood was a brilliant guide, and also gave me plenty of time to explore the sites by myself which I really appreciated. He also took lots of photos for me - which as a solo traveller, is always very helpful.I booked the 4-hour tour to start at 3pm, and we were able to see the sunset over Al Zubarah and the nearby ruins which was a beautiful sight. There was also no one else around which made it very peaceful.My only advice to other people would be to book the tour a little bit earlier! Because I booked it so late, it did mean that by the time we reached Purple Island and the mangroves, the sun had completely set and I couldn’t really see anything.10/10 - and I would definitely be booking with Wadood for the desert safari if I ever came back to Qatar!

We had a wonderful afternoon on the Golden Sunset Desert Safari! From riding sand buggies and camels to dune bashing and sandboarding, the whole trip was great fun.The buggy ride gave us plenty of chances to stop for photos from the tops of the dunes. We then rode camels through the desert before heading out for dune bashing in a Nissan Patrol! As evening approached, our guide Mujahid took us to the top of a dune to watch the sunset. With the full moon rising over the desert, it was a beautiful moment. We finished the afternoon sandboarding down the dunes, which was a lot of fun.Mujahid made the experience especially memorable. He shared his knowledge of Qatari history and the dunes, took fantastic photos, and looked after us throughout the tour. Thank you, Mujahid, for your kindness and hospitality!

We did the private tour which was brilliant, Asim picked us up on time and then we went for a quick stop for tea and optional ATV ride, after that we went into the desert for dune bashing and sandboarding. To finish we went down to the inland sea and had a nice relaxing walk down the coastlineAsim was great, he looked after us and we learned a lot about Qatar on the tripI would highly recommended the private trip as you have more time to do as you like and obviously much more space

Our driver and tour guide, Akhtar, was absolutely wonderful. He was very skilled at dune drifting and dune bashing, and that was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. He made the experience exciting and memorable.We also enjoyed the camel ride, sandboarding, and walking around the beautiful Inland Sea. The desert scenery was amazing, and it was a great way to experience Qatar.The ATV was not included in my itinerary, otherwise I would have definitely tried it! 😄A big thank you to Akhtar for being such a great driver and guide. He really made our half-day desert adventure special. Highly recommended! 👍🏜️

Twas my first time in Qatar and I met a very wonderful tour guide who made my stay and tours very enjoyable.

Akhtar was an exceptional driver and a very good guide, filled us with lots of knowledge about certain landmarks on Qatar as we were on our way to the desert. We took a 1 year old with us and he loved it, akhtar also kept making sure we were good. Would recommend anyone to do on the night one and ask for akhtar

We had Rizwan as our driver & guide. What a fabulous man he is. We found him to be very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot. Four wheel driving in the dunes in pitch black darkness was a blast. Rizwans driving skills were impeccable. We are lucky to have him as our guide again for our next adventure.

We had such a brilliant time on the desert safari! We went quad biking, rode camels, tried dune bashing and got to see the Inland Sea. Akhtar was a fantastic guide, and his driving skills on the dunes were mad—in the best way! It was seriously worth it, especially for a first visit to Doha.One tip: don’t eat too much before the dune bashing! 😅
