The guide for tour was Kaustubh. He has good knowledge about the history of Pune and told many interesting things about this city. We also stopped at a couple of places to taste some tasty things. He also responded to my wishes. I enjoyed the tour. I would recommend this.

The guide for my 4 pm tour was Kaustubh. I enjoyed learning from him about the history of Pune and the various Peshwas that ruled this area. The walking tour stopped at multiple off-the-beaten-path historic sites in central Pune that only a knowledgeable guide can show you. We also walked through the clothing and fruit/vegetable markets, visited several Ganesha shrines and stopped at a couple of places to sample some tasty dessert treats. While this tour starts and ends at the Shaniwar Wada fort, you only view the fort from the outside on the tour. I bought a ticket to visit the inside of the fort on my own before the tour, which helped me get more out of the tour. I recommend going inside the Shaniwar Wada before taking this tour if you have the opportunity. Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations and was a good use of my limited time for tourism in Pune.
