We had the best bike tour with Port City Bike Tours, and our guide, Donna, was absolutely amazing. She was a wealth of knowledge about Portsmouth’s history and shared so many interesting stories along the way. She was also a fantastic cyclist and made the entire experience fun and enjoyable.We agreed that this bike tour was truly one of the highlights of our stay in Portsmouth. Donna was also kind enough to share some wonderful restaurant recommendations, and they did not disappoint!Thank you, Donna, and Port City Bike Tours, for such a memorable experience. The tour was very well narrated with easy to follow instructions. The GPS tracked our location to align with the narration. The only recommendation is that they need to update the ending location as the Portsmouth Brewery is no longer in operation. We instead went around the corner to the Portsmouth Gas Light Co for a nice lunch and live music.

Great option for getting around to see some sights. Be ready for some hills! We needed to walk our bike up some of the steep ones. Make sure you are ready to ride on the road.

What a wonderful way to explore a new to us city! We enjoyed wandering all over, discovering neat and interesting aspects of Portsmouth. Our guides were awesome and kept in touch with us throughout the two hours. We definitely found out a lot more about Portsmouth than if we had been left to our own devices. We are already planning a trip back to visit a couple museums which were part of the hunt. Great activity to get you moving!

Paul was a very good Tour guide, providing lots of interesting history and local information, and keeping us safe on the roads. Biking along the coast on a beautiful May morning was really enjoyable, and we also liked stopping at various historic sites.

would recommend for a fun family event - we were 5 adults and 2 children. we had one adult with app and one with waze which worked having the kids with us!

This was my second bike tour with PortCity. Our guides, Dawn and Paul, were great. They explained how the tour was going to go and how to operate the bikes. Some in our group rode regular bikes and others rode e-bikes. This didn't affect the pace of the ride at all. The ride was 18 miles long, with a short section on the road to get to the trail. The surface is well-packed and easy to ride with a hybrid bike. While there wasn't much bright foliage or wildlife on the trail, this is a great off-the-road ride.

Had an amazing time renting bikes for 3 hours and exploring Portsmouth and New Castle, NH. The bike store provided a couple of 7-speed hybrid bikes with helmets that worked great! The bike shop provided us with a map of places to see and a bike lock. We had such a great time! Highly Recommend it!
