Portofino Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Excellent boat and snorkel tour. Highly recommend. Trip began adjacent to the Portofino ferry terminal, left the harbor proceeding north to San Fruttuoso (snorkel stop) and turned around after touring Camogli harbor. The trip back to Portofino included a brief stop at the private beach of Parragi. Great hosts, very knowledgeable. Tour booked with six, but the other four didn't show. So, my wife and I had a private tour.

Luca was the absolute best! We had the best day seeing the views and swimming! We couldn’t have asked for a better captain! Truly the best day of our trip and would highly highly recommend!

We had a fantastic trip, well worth the price🥰 Luca and Tatiana were kind and provided great service! They even printed out photos for us from our tour, highly recommend this trip. They had snacks, drinks, great music and a stop for swimming. The trip lasted almost three hours and was the perfect amount of time. It was almost like a private tour as we were only four people totale. We all enjoyed this trip very much!

Allessandra was an excellent tour guide. We had a tour of Santa Margarita and ended up with an olive oil tasting and a delicious lunch. Highly recommend

A really wonderful afternoon spent with captain Lorenzo! He met my husband and I at the dock at exactly our designated time and was a very capable, knowledgeable and friendly guide. The boat was clean and comfortable. We had a blast exploring the coast, swimming and drinking prosecco - all while hearing the history, legends and folklore of each area. We highly recommend this tour and company - they were very user friendly and accommodated our needs for a last minute booking!

Our tour of Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure with Polina was so much fun. We had a wonderful stop where we tried several different types of homemade focaccia, along with great coffee and gelato.Polina knew the best routes to walk, which helped us avoid some of the steeper climbs. She also gave us some excellent restaurant suggestions and helpful ideas for things to do when we were in Genoa.Polina had great energy and shared the history and stories of the area in such a relaxed, interesting way. It was such a fun day with someone who clearly knows the area so well and really enjoys sharing it with others. We had a great time and would absolutely recommend the tour.

This was an epic day! Our skipper was Manfredi and he was amazing! Beautiful views, great to explore Portofino and other villages. Swimming was the best! Don’t miss this tour!

It was great, our guide Polina was very knowledgable about the history of the cities. Even she came to pick us up from our hotel.

It was an excellent day on the Ligurian Sea around Santa Margherita and Portofino. Guglielmo was a knowledgeable and amenable host making sure we had a memorable experience. Snorkeling to see the submerged statue at San Frutosso is not to be missed. We had an amazing and authentic Ligurian seafood lunch with an incredible view thanks to Guglielmo recommending and calling in our reservation. I Highly recommend if you like boating and swimming.

Great trip, Mauri was awesome, solid snacks, would recommend. Great views of Portfino and Mauri gives some fun facts along the way.

The location is remote, but Elisa and her husband were the PERFECT hosts!!! Quality of food was excellent and we truly enjoyed making an authentic, multi course, homemade Italian meal! Come hungry and prepared to cook— if we find ourselves in the region again, we would absolutely return to Elisa again!

We had the most incredible day with ABC Portofino Boat Charters! Andreas was fantastic from start to finish—friendly, welcoming, and an excellent host. Our private charter was truly one of the highlights of our trip. We cruised through stunning scenery, stopped several times to swim in the crystal-clear water, and Andrea arranged a beautiful spot for lunch that made the day even more special.Everything was seamless, relaxing, and unforgettable.
