Ari from off the eaten track gave us a fantastic evening! Nice explanation about the different cuisines and the country. Also made some stops for sight seeing, highly recommended!

A big thank you to Karlson who made our food tour both enjoyable and informative. We had an interesting selection of food: Indian, Chinese and Malaysian. Karlson introduced us to new flavours as well as the history of each place visited and the local surroundings. Highly recommend.

Excellent full day in Kuala Lumpa. Our guide was knowledgable and friendly throughout. We took in lots of interesting sites at our own pace. The guide was flexible and willing to wait for us. He took us to a nice Malaysian restaurant for lunch to break up the day. Definitely recommend to other travellers.

Travel from the port is about an hour and travel around the city can be slow with congestion so pick your destinations accordingly

We tried some amazing and different foods you wouldn’t get anywhere else. Eating at local spots no tourists has seen.The tour guide (Ari) is very knowledgeable about all aspects of Malaysia (food, history, politics, etc) and if there is anything specific that you want to try he will go out of his way to get it for you.

Karlson was a fantastic guide on this tour. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable and made it a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a more personal and localised food experience. Thanks Karlson!

This tour of Kuala Lumpur was exactly what we were looking for. Our tour guide Zul spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about Kuala Lumpur history and culture. This tour hit all the high points we were looking to see and Zul was one of the best tour guides we have had in a while. Our driver was Rajan, and he did an excellent job of getting us safely through all the Kuala Lumpur traffic, and finding better routes when there were and traffic jams. I highly recommend this tour.

Kumar was a wonderful, informative, helpful, friendly, very audible driver advisor and guide. He really helped maximize our time and experience!

It was an extremely enjoyable evening. The culinary experience will long be remembered. This was our first excursion based on local food. Our guide knew all about the cooking process for the food he suggested for us. It was educational and enjoyable. We highly recommend the trip.

We did this as a family of five. My mother, two teens (13 and 15) and my husband and I. So we cover a few age groups with this review. It was fantastic! Our first stop had flooded earlier that day, and our wonderful tour guide and driver jumped straight into a plan b and checked with us if we were happy with the new plan. The different foods were great, and hearing the history behind the places we ate and the areas we went was informative, interesting and at times very funny. There was food that suited everyone (not easy to achieve with the youngest) and while us adults were already excited for the tour, the teens said it was so much more fun then they were expecting. Our tour guide, Karlson, was extremely funny and it was lovely that both our guide and driver ate with us and shared stories of the area and their childhood growing up here. We definitely recommend the tour.

An amazing evening with Karlson! It was such a great to go to food stops that tourists don't know about and to know that some of them have been serving the same high quality food for a long time. Karlson was friendly and knowledgeable and made sure to plan around our food preferences and dietary restrictions, so that we could relax and enjoy everything that was put in front of it. Everything was so delicious! It was also fantastic to have a local guide who could answer all our questions about KL and all manner of subjects! Really glad we did this tour! I've never been so full in my life!

Great tour with 3 différent styles.

We had a fun evening with Ari. He introduced us to an Indian eatery followed by a Chinese followed by a Malay. Not only did he introduce us to food, he also gave us insight to the local culture and pointed out sights as we passed them. Very worthwhile tour.

We had an excellent evening with Carlson - made very personal as my husband and I were the only guests! He kept us informed that he was caught in traffic and would be a few minutes late picking us up. We visited a traditional Malaysian street food market, then an Indian restaurant and finally a Chinese one. It was great to have such a knowledgeable guide, telling us all about the food we were eating. It was an unexpected bonus that Carlson gave us a quick tour around some of the street in Chinatown, with a commentary. He was very informative and friendly and I would not hesitate recommending him.

It is travel to and within a big city. Nothing happens quickly despite the excellent effort of driver and guide. Petronas towers well worth a visit and reasonably close to other significant sites. One hour minimum from port Klang to city centre.

We had a very pleasant drive round Kuala Lumpur with Shah. It is a most impressive and interesting city. He is very knowledgeable not just about the major landmarks of the city but also the political and economic landscape of Malaysia. He was able to answer all our questions and shared his extensive knowledge of the country’s history in an easily understandable way.
