Visit Cameron Highlands With Mike

There is a reason Jai is number 1 tour guide in IPOH, he gave absolutely the best day trip we have had for many years, knew his subject knowledge, he cared we had a good day and made sure we did, you may be able to book cheaper, but you won’t be able to book better

The best way to explore the Highlands!
We had a fantastic day trip with Jai! Would thoroughly recommend him if you want to explore the Highlands!He planned out the day perfectly to minimise traffic and chose the activities well (tea plantations, gardens, waterfalls) based on our interests. Lunch was delicious and included in the cost, as was all admission and a number of extra treats and stops.Most of all he was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and we learned a huge amount. He’s clearly been working in the area a while and knows everyone, meaning we got to meet a lot of people and learn about a lot of perspectives we definitely would have missed without him.Cannot recommend this enough!

A fantastic day trip!
Wow what a day! This is something you must book if you are staying in Ipoh. We had the most incredible day at the tea plants, orchid centre and looking at the water fall. We also enjoyed a tasty lunch of our choice. Our guide Mike really made the trip so special his knowledge was amazing and he told us a lot of information without overloading us. He was warm, friendly and kind. Mike did everything to ensure we had a special day and he was part of making it so special

The perfect day trip
Wow what a day! This is something you must book if you are staying in Ipoh. We had the most incredible day at the tea plants, orchid centre and looking at the water fall. We also enjoyed a tasty lunch of our choice. Our guide Mike really made the trip so special his knowledge was amazing and he told us a lot of information without overloading us. He was warm, friendly and kind. Mike did everything to ensure we had a special day and he was part of making it so special. We would highly recommended this tour and Mike!Pick up and drop off was smooth with no problems. The car was very comfy with air con which was welcome in the heat.

Fabulous Day Tour
Had a really fantastic day tour to Cameron Highlands with Jai. Thank you Jai! His knowledge is incredible, and he clearly has a huge passion for what he does. He is a fount of all knowledge!The vehicle he used was really comfortable for 6 of us, communication before was very good (sent details and photos of the car so pick up at hotel was really easy).He adapted the schedule to enable us to make additional stops (memory lane trip for some of our group), and Jai arranged lunch stop at a venue they had been to as children.Jai knew lots of staff / people at each of the stop offs. At each stop he was really considerate of mobility issues and made sure we were very close to the entrance.We had a fabulous day, and couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable guide. Thank you!

Unforgettable experience with an exceptional guide!
We had an absolutely fantastic day with Mike on our tour! From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he set a warm, welcoming tone for the whole day.Mike is extraordinarily knowledgeable. Throughout the drive, he shared fascinating insights into the history of Ipoh and gave us a deep, rich appreciation for the origins of Malaysia’s diverse cultures.The trip to the tea hills was a major highlight. Mike constantly added rich background context to everything we saw, teaching us all about how the tea hills came to be. Stopping by the local markets to browse the fresh fruits, snacks, and street food was equally wonderful and gave us a true taste of local life. The visit to the garden showed us many of the native plants to Malaysia which we never saw before.Navigating the roads up there is no easy feat, they are filled with endless twists and turns but Mike handled those roads like a champ. We felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time.To top it all off, Mike arranged for us to try fresh durians straight from the native Malays in the jungle. It was a completely unique, authentic, and memorable experience that blew all the expensive "graded" commercial durians out of the water!We couldn't have asked for a better driver, guide, or companion for the day. Highly recommend booking with Mike!

Tour Cameron highlands reccomended
We chose the 10-hour tour with lunch included. Our guide, Mike, picked us from our hotel on time and took us to all the stops on the itinerary.
Along the way, he made a few extra stops to let us admire some more scenic views and have a look at the stalls selling local products (also food).
During the tour, Mike gave us an excellent overview of the region and the history of tea in the Cameron Highlands.

He introduced us not only to the most beautiful and famous places, but also to the most authentic corners of the area, telling us about the local history, culture, and traditions in a truly interesting way.One of the things we appreciated most was the opportunity to discover local markets, far from the more touristy paths, where we were able to taste fruits, foods, and snacks typical of the area. Amazing Tour! Must Do in Malaysia
My husband, sister and I spent two days touring with Jai, doing both the Best of Cameron Highlands Tour and the Best of Ipoh Tour, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!From the moment we met Jai, it felt like we were exploring with a friend rather than just a tour guide. He's incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and so knowledgeable about both the Cameron Highlands and Ipoh. High quality tour
It was so lovely to have Jai as our tour guide! The Cameron Highlands tour was jam packed with so many amazing stops! Jai was so knowledgeable and passionate about what he was showing us.
